Far from all of the over 20 Arab countries supported Iraq. Besides it was only economical support. It meant little when the main powers (Russia, USA) supported both sides to prolong the war. Heck even Israel was involved and supported Iran.

I don't call a stalemate against 1 Arab country that happens to be nearly 3.5 times smaller and with a 2.5 times smaller population a "victory". Especially when Iraq inflicted much more pain and destruction on Iran and its citizens.

Most Arab countries had no love for Saddam Hussein nor would they be willing to fight a war they had nothing to do with on behalf of another country. Maybe if they were one single body or under one Caliphate/rule. Otherwise it is even nonsense to think alongside those lines.

Anyway let people think that KSA will somehow become isolated, LOL. We have EXCELLENT ties with UK and France - the two main European powers. With China and until now USA as well. I don't know who we need more? Russia? No thanks. The relations with India are even cordial.

Let alone the entire Muslim world - or at least all Sunni majority countries who form 90% of all the world's Muslims - 1.6 BILLION people.

Hindu, stick to issues you know something about. Iran received support from outsiders too. Economic support does not win you wars and Iran did not win any war against Iraq. Yes, keep thinking that KSA will become isolated. Heck your own country - India - is very eager to have very good relations with KSA. After all 2.5 million of your citizens work and live in our country and what they earn in KSA is keeping millions of people afloat in their homeland.

Sudan did not support Iraq. Basically the support to Iraq amounted to 4-5 Arab countries out of over 20. The level field had to be reached. After all Iran is 3.5 times bigger and has a population 2.5 times bigger. Besides none of my points in the post you quoted are wrong but all correct.

Iraq was still able to give Iran and it's citizens much more destruction and it also conquered significantly more land.

Who are we? Iran had absolutely nothing to do with the capture of Saddam Hussein or the invasion of Iraq. You wish you could have done that but America did it.
