Saudi Arabia to execute three prominent moderate scholars after Ramadan

Subahana'Allah, the Saudi government is going to gutter by imprisoning some of the best Muslim scholars of our times.

May Allah (swt) alleviate the suffering and pain of Sheikh Salman al-Odah and others, and my they get their freedom. They opposed some of the government initiatives which go against the tenets of Islam.

In 1978, the Somali government executed around 10 Muslim scholars who opposed the Military government's edict of introducing rules that imposed what they called "equality" between men and women. Sheikh Abdal-Hamid Kishk I (rahihumullah) of Egypt warned us (Muslims in Somalia) if you allow this execution to take place, you'll earn the wrath of Allah (swt). From that day to the present day, we have never known peace and stability, and our situation has been getting worst year after year.

So Muslims in the Arabian Peninsula should know if this unjust execution proceeds where Muslim scholars are executed simply because they oppose the current ruler's edict, you've sealed your fate (Allah forbid).

I would like to know what moderat views some of the listed scholars had..

In the end it could be something good for instance moderate views on gays and such a bullshit

.

This action, if being taken against Muslim Brotherhood, is a legitimate one to stave off the threat to the government of KSA.

They are far more dangerous than the current government of KSA.

These people have become nothing more than pro-Western Arab supremacists masquerading as Islamic leaders. Many are vehemently anti-Pakistani, anti-Turkish, and anti-Shia.

Here I am talking about all MB groups (not Egyptian one) which have been co-opted by Washington, hence the CIAs opposition to Trumps’ proposed MB ban in the US.

US used and funneled money/arms to Muslim Brotherhood groups of Syria and Libya to promote internal anarchy before destroying those nations.

The same is the plan for KSA.

I don’t know these scholars personally, but only commenting on MB.

I'm not a fan of closed trials at all and I don't understand why execution is considered necessary in these cases but labeling a man like Salman al-Odeh a "moderate" implies bad things about "moderates" - since al-Odeh is a big supporter not just of violent jihad but anti-Jewish and anti-Christian slanders: link

Nevertheless, he appears to be all talk - is there any record of him committing or personally directing violence? Apparently not. And if he's the guy in the back of the crowd who urges the ones in front to murder then shouldn't that be exposed, rather than hidden?

With talk you can commit more violence than personally taking part

Let's see what else....Awad al-Qarni is on record as offering to bankroll terrorists. Can't shed many tears for him.

Don't see what the third guy, Ali al-Omari, might have done. Sounds like he started a youth group but was only suspected of planning to use it for terror? Very shaky...

LOL Muslim Brotherhood is not a terrorist organisation.

Depends on your definition of terrorist, but in Syria and Libya, they most definitely are.

In the US, they are part of the Western liberal pro-LGBT alliance with their prominent members like Linda Sarsour, Omar Suleman, CAIR, and have much influence in MAS, ISNA, ICNA, etc.

In Egypt, they were anti-Western and anti-Israel, this is why the US replaced them.
