Saudi Arabia plans 1000 Military industry projects

.
Indonesia, Turkey and Saudi Arabia 16tth 17th and 19th biggest economy of the world (GDP Nominal) they have pool of talent and money to invest the joint venture is good way to go.

.
If they are able to get this that will be great with some more Frigates and most importantly 10 to 12 Submarines they will become one of the strongest navies in the world with some fighter planes to back Navy you got a deadly force which no one will want to have a fight with and also Saudi Arabia should increase its fighter planes to 1000 including 300 Stealth Planes by 2025

Strongest Navies in the World? 1000 fighter planes? 300 Stealth Planes?

It takes years of command and experience to train an officer corps that are capable of handling Warships and Submarines. Adding a whole bunch of frigates and submarines does not automatically mean it has become the strongest Navies in the World. Saudi Navy is in its infancy. And also to project power through Navy, Saudis need Air Craft Carriers, which they don't have. All in all, it will take Saudis another 30-40 years before they have a Navy that can be considered world class. That is if they continue on this path of massive Militarization expansion.

As for 1,000 fighter planes, that is not going to happen either. Saudis have no need for such a massive air force.

And for 300 Stealth Planes, who is going to sell them these Stealth Planes? The only Stealth Plane operational is the F-22 and the other one is F-35 which will first me made for USA and then for the rest of the partner nations.

Saudis won't get their hands on F-35 for another 20 years at the minimum.

.
1000 !!! Bloody hell Turkey only has 250 !

And this is only the beginning.

Go, Go the union GCC-Turkey.:cheesy:

Comments of a Saudi Critique..

these are sugar coating remidies for the upcoming destruction of saudi private industry due to monkey labour laws and ministerial corruption..

I happen to believe this...since the person is PhD in economics from US.

In the end, will you run to USA just like UAE did when it hosted American F-22s against Iran?

Why do not GCC countries start fighter aircraft, an indigenous stealth corvette, midget submarine and ballistic missile programmes with help from fellow Arab countries? I am not asking for cooperation with other Muslim countries, but why not with other Arab countries? At least you can provide citizenships or similar benefits to Egyptians, Jordanians, Syrians, Algerians, Sudanese, Moroccans and other Arab Muslims to tap into the huge pool of talented researchers and scientists.

You can start two or more competing projects for each 'major' weapon system, so that the threat of competition improves performance of the two competing teams. That's just one idea, you could pursue your own idea to develop your own indigenous capabilities. What is holding you back?

At last, it is good that you are competing against Americans, other infidels, Iran and similar countries by taking warfare to the 'media front' as well.

When are the planning to order these things and what does LCS stands for ?

LCS stands for Littoral Combat Ship, i also wonder when they are going to order these?

QUESTION: What or how many companies are affiliated with Military Industries Corporation? I know abdallah al faris, and AVF for vehicles, any others?

What are Saudis building military up against?

But still, they have the money and it is better than making flying castles...

.
These step must take long before and Pakistan offer SA in 1976 for the same and they stated that it is a useless idea. Any how best of luck

.
Industrialization is a process which requires various stages of development from raw materials to finished products. One cannot take shortcuts and leap. Announcements like these are good at their face value but lack of manufacturing infrastructure means either it will take 40-60 years to roll the first fully indigenous product or the so called manufacturing will be only over-priced assembling of components.

.
Does that mean importing more expensive American toys?

While at the same time paying for Israels?
prices occupation Muslim world by Israel

The country's leaders are puppets of the West:angry:

. .
and they will hire foreigners to work in their defence industries
