Why do the Saudis spend so much on technology? Iraq has been neutered, Syria is collapsing in on itself, and Israel would not fight a war on so many fronts...what could possibly threaten their nation?

Just because they seem to be a religious government doesn't mean that they are nice, Its all deception...Ibn Saud and Abdul Wahab...concluded an agreement that Ibn Saud would be the political head and Abdul Wahab would be the religious head of the new political entity of Saudi Arabia ( meaning literally Arabia of Saud family )....and its founding fathers have pictures with World Zionist Movement leaders, these people killed millions of innocent muslims who supported the Ottoman Caliphate..Saudi Arabia is a deception...it would never make a move against Israel...let me be clear !!!

Wrong, although we consider Iran our enemy, Saudi Arabia warned against any violation to its air space. Saudi official announced that RAF will intercept any Israeli jets flying near by.

An Israeli-Saudi War will never happen. The only thing that could happen is Saudis sending their forces as expeditionary forces to fight alongside other Arab states who are engaged in conflict but a direct war has no chance of happening.

And besides, last time a major Regional War between Israel and Arabs was nearly 40 years ago during the Yom Kippur War.

Chances of a Iran-Saudi War is higher than an Israeli-Saudi War.
