Dude, its both way around...not even Saudis can live without selling oil to countries like India....and even both can live by doing the transactions via third country the way India and Pakistan has been doing for decades....

Well i don't remember how many times Pakistanis accused Arabs of being intoxicated in their oil wealth and being US stooges, Turks of being secular , Indian Muslims of being Hindu stooges , BD Muslims of being more Bengali (you broke up in 1971 precisely of that reason) and all other Muslims of not being Muslim enough..so the only one left is Pakistanis.

There is a lot of countries that live without KSA oil, but not feasible for India due to our size and location. We also need Iranian oil.
