So what? It was in the interests of KSA to remove a hostile actor from Kuwait. All parties won economically, militarily and economically.
What are you blabbering about? No Saudi Arabian ship was attacked.
What are you blabbering about again my Indian friend? We are partners and there is nothing to thank for. The Gulf War was about Kuwait and was a joint operation that would not have went as smoothly without KSA involvement.
And once again events 30 years ago are irrelevant and no longer relevant. Hence the 1250 example.
KSA and the US relationship is doing fine for now. We will see what the future will bring but recent developments are clear, KSA is looking more and more towards China (our largest trade partner and key strategic military ally), Russia, Europe, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Pakistan, Arab world etc.
However I predict that ties will remain close, KSA is far too important for the US to lose it and vice versa.
It seems that you have problems with comprehending English. Let me refresh your memory again.
“Earlier this week the Pentagon could not confirm that any payment had been made.”
The KSA-USA relationship is that of equals. KSA has had a large trade surplus with the US each year in the past 40 years. The US has hosted over 1 million Saudi Arabian residents in the past 30 years. Leading US firms are present in KSA and vice versa. KSA has huge stocks in leading US firms, property and there is ever growing ToT on numerous fields such as technology, military, science etc. Counter-terrorism and intelligence is another important field of cooperation.
Anyway this is ironic coming from a user that flags a country flag (Turkey) that hosts a US base, pays 2.5% of its GDP annually to NATO (another name for the US which runs this club) and which owes its entire existence after WW2 to the US for saving it from becoming a USSR republic or satelite state.
We all remember Brunson, Gulen sitting nicely in the US, open support to SDA and YPG next to the Turkish border and the crippling US sanctions that ruined the vulnerable Turkish economy overnight.
On the other hand we all saw how KSA handled 9/11, Kashhoggi etc. in comparison. Or even our deal with Russia on the S400 with the Americans being quite. Or our strategic relationship with China. List is very long.
Anyway no point discussing with kids.
US President Donald Trump said that he made Saudi Arabia pay the US for the increased presence of American service personnel in the region as a result of the regional tensions.
Hallucinating again? How about you write sources to substantiate your nonsense. On a daily basis 1000’s of Saudi Arabian container ships, oil tankers, vessels, fishing boats, commercial boats and military ones are sailing and navigating in our waters and the neighbourhood, some of the most important and busy shopping trade roots on the planet. PDF is reaching new lows.
For the 1000th time, as an Indian it might be difficult to pick countries apart but Kuwait is not KSA, lol.
Yes, we are, remember 9/11, Kashoggi, S400, Chinese involvement in our domestic ballistic missile program, uranium mining in KSA jointly with China and Russia winning a nuclear reactor contract.
If you could just allow us to incoporate Qatar as we incoporated Bahrain. Move that CENTCOM base to Turkey, Bahrain or UAE.
it is very disgraceful and insulting for top army like u.s to act as rental army, they should not compromise on respect and prestige of their armed forces
So what? Not much buddy except that we had to save your asses AGAIN, so a thank you and some billions would be ok
Oh and that part about no Saudi ship being attacked, that just made me laugh..Of fuckin course you wont be attacked if you dont show up to a fight. Just stay in your bases and we will do the figting for you, given that you keep paying us some of that oil.

Trump: Saudi paid $1bn to increase number of US troops in region
January 13, 2020 at 9:38 am
US President Donald Trump said that he made Saudi Arabia pay the US for the increased presence of American service personnel in the region as a result of the regional tensions.
In an interview with the American TV channel Fox News, Trump said: “Saudi Arabia is paying us for [our troops]. We have a very good relationship with Saudi Arabia.”
“I said, listen, you’re a very rich country. You want more troops? I’m going to send them to you, but you’ve got to pay us. They’re paying us. They’ve already deposited $1 billion in the bank.”
Last October the Pentagon said it approved the deployment of 3,000 additional soldiers and military equipment to Saudi Arabia after the country’s state-owned oil giant, Aramco, was subjected in September to a missile attack, for which Yemen’s Houthis claimed responsibility. The new military equipment included Patriot missiles, THAAD system and fighting planes.
Trump has repeatedly said he would force states to pay for US protection, often in reference to Gulf states. The region has seen unprecedented upheaval since Trump’s arrival to the Oval Office, with tensions between Saudi and Iran being at their peak and an ongoing nearly three year Arab boycott of Qatar.

If you act like the world’s policeman, this is your fate.

Denied by Pentagon and if that tiny payment (for KSA that is nothing) happens, it will be for services that everyone else pays for as well outside of our Jewish cousins. Fair game.
Turkey is a NATO member over 50 years. Whatever US officers are doing in Incirlik and Aksaz, Turkish officers do the same job in Brussels and Naples. The two countries are working together in a wide geography from Afghanistan to Kosovo. We do not pay tribute to the United States for this. Turkey has nothing to do with the subject at all, there's no resemblance.
In a discussion, you give us a clear idea about your age(or mindset) by constantly and systematically attempting to attack the identity of the other persons. So be aware that what you call as "kid" may be at your father's age.
I'm not a author of this news, it's from CNN journalists. It's been published for a while ago, and when you search the Internet, a lot of US media outlets have shared it. I mean "what about turkey" is a very helpless reflex.

Bro, it is off-topic but i want to talk with Arab members on some issues.Yes, we all saw that with Brunson, Gulen, Syria, YPG, sanctions that cripplied your economy, insults against Erdogan, being thrown out of the F-35 program, S400 misery etc. Very funny.
KSA is nowhere to be seen in comparison that is the harsh reality. Carry on trolling.
Aww,man!.........now you`re just being cruel!
But it was pretty funny tho.
Bro, it is off-topic but i want to talk with Arab members on some issues.
Do you think, our relations can be repaired when Erdo leaves the office and the new Turkish President whom won't interfere with the Arab affairs, won't commit Muslim Brotherhood and would seek peaceful relations with the Arab countries ? Or do you think, Turkish - Arab relations past the point of salvage?
Is this the old/real Sinan or a false flagger? Welcome back buddy and hope everything is fine with you.
To be honest with you it all depends, if you ask me, on the policy that Erdogan will follow and whether or not he will continue to allign himself with the MB project that so far have failed.
Because other than that there are no reasons for the Arab world/Arab countries/Arabs to have hostile ties with Turkey and vice versa. It makes no sense for either party.
I don’t know what the future has in store in this volatile region but I am prepared for everything occuring, good and bad.
I'm the Sinan that you know, i might get my old account back...maybe later. Everything is going well, and i hope the same with you.
IMO, it is not in Turkey's interests to follow MB project and never been, however our Islamist President have different ideas and no other political parties have his mindset.
So, i believe that once Erdo's reign is over, new president would like to mend ties with Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt and Israel. We have no historical disputes with these countries and it doesn't benefits Turkey to be enemy of these countries.
Lol calmate bro.
