Saudi Arabia ends Yemen air campaign - Operation Restoring Hope started

Exactly when was the last time the Iranian Air Force flew it's obsolete fighter aircrafts outside its own airspace?

Are we supposed to go out of our air space to please you? Are we aggressors to fly our planes over another country and bomb their civilians?

Anyways, except few bombings of ISIS positions in Iraq, no we haven't seen the need to fly our of our air space.

harsh but valid question
Is that really a valid question sir ? Isn't that a little off topic ? Iran's Air Force fighter jets last time flew over eastern Iraq by the request of Iraqi government . they pushed back the terrorists from irbil and other eastern cities of Iraq,Sir ! thats what they did .

educate me

give more details and provide any links to the detailed stories. my knowledge is based on Iran only providing group troops along with their general and for Tikrit the American airpower was needed to crush the takfiri ISIS terrorists

Yes . Iranian SU-24s and F-4 phantoms launched several CAS missions in support of kudish peshmarga and Iraqi government forces . First footage surfaces: Iranian jet seen attacking ISIS targets in Iraq - Middle East - Israel News | Haaretz Iranian air force bombs Isis targets in Iraq, says Pentagon | World news | The Guardian
The Aviationist » Previously unknown details about Iranian F-4, F-5, Su-24 and UAVs involvement in air strikes on ISIS targets in Iraq

An insight into the IRIAF missions in Iraq was provided by Iranian defense expert Babak Taghvaee, a very well known author of several publications about the Iranian air forces and a regular contributor to some of the most read aviation magazines.

Taghvaee summed up the key features about the Iranian air raids in an email to The Aviationist.

– 18th to 20th November, several interdiction sorties were performed by the 2nd and 4th TFB’s F-5s in the Diyala province.

– Between Nov. 20t and Nov. 23 November, the RF-4Es of IRIAF and UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) of the IRGC-ASF (Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corp Aerospace Force) performed recce sorties over Jalula and Saadia.

– Between Nov. 23 and Nov. 30, the F-4Es of the 3rd TFB and 9th TFB performed CAS (Close Air Support) sorties for the Kurdish Peshmerga, Badr militia and Iraqi SpecOps.

– On Dec. 1 and 2, four Su-24MKs performed several combat air patrols and on-call CAS sorties deep inside Iraqi borders.

– On 29th and 30th November, the indigenous Sattar 4 LGBs and GBU-78/A Ghased TV guided bombs were used against the Daesh’s strongholds and heavy trucks successfully for first time in battle zone.

In conclusion, the Kurds and Iraqis retrieved the cities of Jalula and Saadia under fire support of IRIAF.

“The Americans had full coordination with Iranians during the combat sorties of IRIAF,” Taghvee highlighted.

Indeed, although it was theoretically possible for Iranian planes to fly inside Iraq without any coordination with other air forces operating in the same airspace, it would have been suicidal. For proper deconfliction of tactical assets, prior coordination and air space management and control are required.

Saudi Prince Promises 100 Bentleys to Pilots Who Bombed Yemen Civilians

Saudi Prince Alaweed bin Talal promised to award pilots with Bentleys for part in the Yemen bombing campaign which killed 943 and injured 3,487.

Saudi billionaire Prince Alaweed bin Talal promised free Bentleys to fighter pilots who took part in the Yemen bombing campaign in a Tweet he later deleted.

"To recognize the one hundred participating Saudi pilots I am pleased to present them with 100 Bentley cars," bin Talal said.

Alaweed bin Talal is one of the richest people in the world and owns a $300 million stake in Twitter as well as stakes in Apple, and Time Warner.

On March 26, upon a request from ousted Yemen President Hadi, Saudi Arabia and its allies launched a military operation codenamed Decisive Storm to force the Houthis to hand power back to the president.

ok thanks , I only skimmed through the news I do know Iraqis ordered Mig 25s and Mi28s but didnt know Iran was conducting air support operations as well
job well done specially with direct/ indirect support of USA in smashing some ISIS dens but there are some big challenges coming up specially Ramadi and those oil fields where the ISIS terrorists have made some gains

for some reason I cant dispel the feeling that the KSA's blitz on Yemen was a frustrated and angry response to Iranian supported campaign of Beghdad which successfully liberated Tikrit and kicked ISIS for the first time really hard and also the participation of Sunni tribes which was not liked by ISIS and its overt supporters who are running the entire Middle east chaos on sectarian hatred bases.

Saudi-led Coalition Declares End to Yemen Campaign / Sputnik International
Saudi-led coalition operations in Yemen are now entering a political phase. A coalition spokesman said the decision to end operation Firmness Storm followed a request from the Yemeni government.

Biggest looser in this conflict is pak .

Really? Taking a side in a war between two muslims to kill people who have nothing to do with us?

The losers here are both Iranis and Saudis for using a Muslim land as their battle field and kill people. No Saudi civilians or Irani civilians are killed in this conflict. The biggest loser here is Yemen.

They both should be ashamed for this dirty game of power.

They have again started bombing
Yep, they've been being toasted all day long. Look how low life they are, they have been begging for cease fire and agreed to sit and negotiate but ASA strikes stopped, they returned attacking civilians. Now, the negotiations are not like before, there are swords over their necks this time.

It seems Iranians stopped celebrating their victory here.

Or maybe.. Just maybe it has something to do with Houthis pushing further south into Aden with 0 regards to the GCC warnings to stop their military campaign, go back to Sadaah and peacefully be part of the political solution via dropping arms and being a political party that it entitled to rule or be heard in the Yemeni government like they promised to be a year before.

Or maybe it has something to do with Houthis stealing the Yemeni Tanks and heavy weapons and use them in a military drill only a few Kilometres away from the Saudi borders (Never happened in history) with their flags, Hezbollah's and the Iranian flag mounted on their tanks. Would any sane, peace seeking people do such things? The message was clear.

As the Saudi Ambassador in the U.S, Al-Jubeir once said:“We recognize the Houthis are Yemenis. We recognize that the Houthis have a right to be part of the political process in Yemen and we are not denying this,
“But they cannot be a militia and they cannot have heavy weapons outside the scope of the state. That is a situation that is not tolerable. We see the consequences of that in Lebanon with Hezbollah, where a militia pretty much dominates the state and threatens state institutions. We will not allow this to happen on our doorstep in Yemen.” He also said "the Yemeni government tried repeatedly over the past year to reason with the Houthis, to negotiate with them, to go through a political process to resolve their differences peacefully. “Every time agreements were reached the Houthis reneged on every single one of them — 67 agreements to be precise,”

I also find it surprisingly strange how could you forget that KSA until recently was bombing ISIS. Or that Tikrit was liberated with the U.S fighter jets with 0 Shia militia men that protested the participation of Americans.

Begging for money? You should be getting your facts right, all of the GCC states depend on us for their own security. They need us more than we need them.

Have we termed their request for military assistance "begging"? no!, aid is their financial assistance, that is what friendly countries do son, state affairs are not lesbian romance.

We have lost "no" ally. Saudia is our long term ally and we have to fix this screw up that NS brought on our friendship. The army chief is there to ensure he does not screw up again. Sauds need us more than we need them, it is going to be a real nightmare for them if they loose Pakistan as their ally.

Grow up before responding. Or i will report you for trolling.
