Saudi Arabia and the UAE's propaganda war against Qatar

.
Right, and that is the criteria of legitimacy?

. . .
LOL. Right. And you know this how?

I hate to break down your false sense of reality, but the leadership of SA is self serving. And more important to this arguement, they are self-PRESERVING. I encourage you to read the article i posted from the Christian Science Monitor. The sad reality is....the Saudis and UAE (leadership) are selling out everything to hold onto power. That includes turning the middle east into a killing field.

As well as colluding with the Americans and Israelis.

Lol ok if you say so. So what about the other countries I mentioned then? :D

T-Rex is absolutely correct on Sisi.

The west claims to support democracy, and yet when Morsi gets elected and subsequently overthrown, the same guy who overthrew him is sitting in the White House fawning over Donald Trump. The hypocrisy of the West is palpable. This isnt the first or only time this has happened btw. It is PRECISELY this hypocrisy and double standards that frustrate people of the Muslim world. Its not the just muslims. Go to South America and ask them how they feel about Western interference in their affairs from years past.

. .
The Saudi Monarchy has the support of the Saudi people.
Really?,and you know this how exactly?,by what benchmark do you measure the support for the saudi regime among its own populace?

Saudi Arabia has helped Pakistan.

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are allies.

Iran on the other hand is an enemy of USA. Isn't that absurd.
And what exactly does any of that have to do with the legitimacy or lack thereof of the saudi regime?

Please have a read of this article, from the CS Monitor. T-Rex hit the nail on the head.

I just find it funny that the article says Qatar's Royal family support for Radical sunni extremists group like the MB is because Qatar is after the the longevity of people-powered political movements.

Really? Are you serious? Qatar's monarchs supporting the muslim brotherhood for islamic democracy?

Dude, if that is the case then Qatar's current monarch (who's father led a coup to topple his own father. Lol) should start by resigning and disbanding the Monarchy and then call for nation-wide free and fair elections to elect a democratic leader. If he can do that, then we can start talking about how serious he is about supporting sunni extremist groups for "democracy".:cheesy:

I have nothing against Qatar though , having visited the country I must say it's citizens live a very very good life and it's a very wealthy developed country (just like it's other gulf neighbours), can't say the same for other muslim countries in the region though. So I give them credit for that :)

Even so, funny enough, some people(even in here) will say Qatar has been a source of trouble for the region(depends on who you ask though) since this small Gulf state has played a substantial role in promoting the Arab Spring(some call it Arab winter.lol ) by lending significant support to rebels who ousted former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and to the uprising seeking to topple Syrian President Bashar al-Assad from power(reason Syria and Russia label the MB a terrorist group). Funny enough Iran doesn't, it instead supports them passively in one country and opposes them in another. The Middle East, always as interesting and complex as always.:)

Yea its interesting and extremely convoluted. And I am sure many angles of the argument are hidden and not recognized. Unfortunately, this is the reality on the ground now and many innocent people have died and will die because of this crap.

Well. As I said geo politics in the middle East is very very complicated with lots of intertwined alliances. It's like solving a complex puzzle. :p:.
It's naïve to look at things there in a white and black angle. It's never the case in the middle East. :agree:

Things are heating up:

1. Hackers Vow to Release Apparent Trove of U.A.E. Ambassador’s Emails
The hackers are offering a sample of alleged messages they claim demonstrate “how a small rich country/company used lobbyists to hurt American interests and those of it allies.”

2. FBI helping Qatar in QNA hacking investigation
US team said to be in Doha at official request after diplomatic tension with Gulf neighbours blamed on security breach.

I really think the Saudis and Emiratis shot themselves in the foot this time around.

Interesting. It will be good to see what comes out of this.

But me lady, you still didn't answer my question. :(

Russia and Syria are monarchies?:what:

Do you always read half of the the statement? Read the entire statement before commenting, that is if your blindness allows that.

The Saudi Monarchy has the support of the Saudi people.

Yet the House of Saud has this strange aversion for any kind of test. Please show me one despot in history who admitted that he didn't have public consent.
