Personally, I don't see this being a definitive issue right now given the multiple problems we're facing. There is (as with all these announcements), politics at play. Never is such a decision taken for the benefit of the common man.
On a wider sense, it simply leads to further fragmentation of the nation, which I don't think is the best thing for Pakistan. We're already experiencing sectarian and ethnic violence, so how does this help?
It will simply spur those in the north west to campaign for a Hazara province, and that will again damage the unity of the nation IMO.
I don't have anything against the creation of provinces as such, which are properly managed, and where resources are shared equally. However, I see this being a step too far for our people where corruption is rife, and personal interest rules over improving the lives of the masses.
I believe we become more weak because of the internal issues then the external...I can't understand the media's role...If to solve a terrible problem spanning with the creation of Pakistan then what else needed to be solved....problem has remained for here for ever and by just arrognatly ignoring that we are busy with these issues and can't hear this then this become a blast brother at the end of day....as the medias is occupied 46% by punjabis and while other provinces are having their problems so media is not supporting and doing injustice...I ever loved a HASBE HAAL program but I hated once when they reported about the
Gilani saying that 'History will never forgive us if we don't create a Sarikie province' then Mr. Azizi hypocrytically spoke a couple of shows befoer that we are having electricity problem, we are having loadshedding problem ,we are having corruption problem...How can you ignore a huge population demands just by telling them arrogantly that we are having this more imporatant issue to solve first...AT LEAST HEAR THE PROBLEM....At least fellow Pakistanis who love other Pakistanis (I suppose) can say it is a problem...there should be million way to solve this....WHAT IF we resume MULTAN as a capital of Punjab like it was as GOLDEN SPARROW centries before? I'm sure it will be not accepted...then how it was accepted when it was withdrawn? For 65 years Lahore has ruled over Sariki belt ...now give for two years Multan a chance I suppose?
