A U-S court has
ruled that cricket star Imran Khan is the father of a five year child. This is the precise definition of a conviction, the ruling by a US Court Judge!
Definitely. Even though people may not feel it because the traders have raised the prices due to weakening of the rupees. Even for the domestic produce, which is dishonesty on their part. They also want to see the end of PTI government because it is demanding that they register their businesses and pay Income Tax and sales taxes too, which they collect from the customer, but don't pay it back to the Government.
It is surprising that you claim to have knowledge about the economy and yet you completely ignore the ripple effects and far reaching consequences of depreciation. When the rupee was depreciated it had far reaching consequences such as higher cost of fuel, electricity, machinery and spares, raw material etc. And all this is for domestically produced goods.
And even on the matter of tax collection, the Government should have started slowly and gradually rather then to place the entire burden on the already overburdened manufacturing and services sector.
The rupees have to float freely by PTI because of the mess created by Ishaq Dar by keeping the rupee floating well above its weight by artificially boosting the reserves through very expensive borrowing of Dollars.
Dar was borrowing dollars....hmmm, so what is PTI doing, donating dollars? Any idea how much PTI has borrowed in 1 year alone? And do you even have an idea what free float is? What determines the actual value of the USD? And what should we do if the actual value is NOT in our favour, for various reasons (in terms of what does other countries do like Japan, China etc.? which is actually opposite of Pakistan that they under-appreciate their currency, but why?) and who should determine what is best for Pakistan?
The trade deficit and current account deficit were rocketing, so were imports.
PTI has got all of them down and strengthening the economy through correct measure.
Do you qualify to speak on the Economy!! I am.
PTI is creating a massive mess of the economy, they may be able to get things on the right track but at what cost? Do we absolutely have to demolish our economy and commerce to build on the ashes? Why couldn't PTI pick up from where the caretaker government let go? Why did they have to pummel the economy to the ground before setting the so called 'right' direction by firing their own Finance man and borrowing the PPP Finance man?
There are other ways to counter trade and current account deficit, through higher taxation instead of devaluation. Devaluation hits each and everything that we import (and on which we are dependent) from Oil, Machinery, Auto parts, raw material for our own industry etc., whereas higher taxation on items which we would have liked to discourage would have not only provided the Government with higher revenues but would also have declined imports. For higher exports, the Government could have given subsidies to exporters, instead of a lower exchange rate.
Please resist, you seems not to know even the basics of the international norms.
Do you understand that how many times IK had been in the USA after passing of the verdict by the LA family court!!
If he was convicted as you say, FBI would have arrested him long time ago.
IK would have been arrested at customs had he ever traveled to the US before he accepted Tyrion White into his family, after the death of Sita White. He never traveled to the US during that period.
