They have already established that he's a half muslim(whatever that is ) as his mother was a Muslim(I suppose before marrying a Hindu without any conversion). That is the reason a lot of these guys are supporting Sanjay.

If he had to get those guns to protect him in riot time, he should get some leniency from the justice system for the fact that during these riots no one gets saved by the cops.

If had those guns all along but never bothered to register them as required by Indian law then he should be punished to the fullest extent of law thereby serving the full term of the sentence.

Lets be reasonable here.

This is actually a message from the majority hindu folks to the minorities that police will not help you in riots, you will have no one to help you, and also you can't even protect yourself with firearms so we can burn you alive at will.

Deal with it.

1. Sanjay Dutt is a Hindu, not part of a religious minority.

2. As per Indian laws, he is 100% guilty, as he himself has pleaded guilty. Got off remarkably with a light sentence because of his political and Bollywood connections. Had this beena common man, they were looking at 15 yrs minimum...
