i just came across this chinese phone it jiayu g4 thinking of buying it the phone cost Rs 5000 less than than micromax canvas hd and also beats its micromax counterpart in terms of specifications with a big margin so just wanted to ask chinese members here is the company known to provide good quality products or not if yes will definately buy this one

I'll say no. Don't go on quad or 1 gb ram etc words. Check out the chipset, processor specifications of mob. For example xolo 900 intel has single 1ghz processor but give better performance then dual core.
1 more thing, customer service center ... MMX service centers are available now a days.

Edited- 1 more thing, MMX is Indian company. Trying to settle. Support it.

Nope. ram are soldered in smart phones. It's not like lappy, where you can plug out the ram and put higher 1.
If it was possible then imagine people are buying the cheap phone and upgrading it with higher ram.
next what ? processor , cam.

Look, there are many factors. If you check the hardware, chipset, pixel density, gpu, etc. You ll see apple is better then most smart phone.

I think it would be good if instead of setting new plants for the companies for production in India, we give them the factories which belong to the shut down/sick Industrial units and ask the companies to train and absorb the now unemployed workers of those shut down/sick Industrial units

Micromax(and it's 2nd quality sales branded as in qmobile etc) , Karbonn,Lava,fly etc etc all manufacture their phones in PRC. so, what is there to claim? not made in India?
