Example: Person A , not saying it is anyone particular in forum purely fictional statement
Goes to confessional , admits having tough time figuring out if he is going hell or heaven
The Man cabin asks him : So what is your story ?
Man goes : I kicked out my parent from my home feeling guilty
Man goes : I also did not took good care of my animal at home it died while I was at work
Man goes : I may have dropped a bomb over a Afghan wedding on orders from my Commander
Man goes : I may have slapped my fiancée , due to PTSD
Man goes : I was not around for my kid to teach him good mannerism
Man goes : I might have taken some drugs
Man goes : My actions make me regret things every morning
Man goes : I stole 500 bucks from store where I worked at cashier
Man goes : I may have had fist fight recently where I broke someone's jaw and then left the scene at Bar
Guy in Cabin goes : No problem all sins forgiven go home chill out you going heaven ?!
See such things don't add up from any rational point of view
Why is he going to a man when he could just ask forgiveness from Allah? The man can't tell if he is going to heaven or he'll himself how he could tell others?

Even after you ask forgiveness from Allah you still are going to be judged and are unsure if you are going to he'll or heaven. The only way one can be sure is to die in the righteous cause of Allah.

When you die in the cause of Allah you don't actually die you live on forever.
