What is a Muslims salvation? Dying in the cause of Allah?
Living a pious life and dying a muslim.
We don't support hanging of son for the sins of others. Everyone will be held for his own doings at judgment day.
No free paradise in Islam.

.
The Christians salvation is believing in Jesus dying on the cross for their sins etc.... they say Jesus has already saved them and erased their sins.

What is a Muslims salvation? Dying in the cause of Allah?
Simple: Don’t skip your farz. Don’t engage in Harams.

Now you ask what is kinda farz and what is type of Haram. Simple: Anything specifically mentioned in Quran. For e.g: Daily prayers, Fasting, charity and Jihad when mandatory.

Haram: like major sins like shrik and RIBA dealing ( interest) .

If you avoid major sins Allah will forgive minor sins.

If you are granted forgiveness from all sins , then why even have hell or heaven ? Contradicting statement

Why have the confessional box , where a Christian person goes and confesses their sins ? What purpose that serves if their is no sense of Guilt for committing a sin ?

Why bother dipping the baby in holy water? if technically all sins are forgiven ?! It's all meaningless because every thing is forgiven already?

The natural impulse of shame and regret , why does it comes causing the Christian to head to the Box to cry ? After all they are told all their sins are forgiven? Something sure does not adds up

Muslim's believe everyone's own actions in life time , impact our afterlife , thus we all have freedom to choose our path

The idea that Death is path to Salvation (as you call it), well technically it is not death itself but doing the "right thing" is what eventually determines your salvation

Should a Muslim Die while being on the right path to fight injustice , then Allah chooses what is best for them in afterlife for it is Allah who knows what lies in our hearts , or our true intentions. Muslims don't fight to attain death they are fighting for a cause they believe in, should their intentions be pure , sure they may be granted heaven

Salvation can also be attained by beating your enemy !!! And being called a Ghazi

Allah is merciful , there are incidents in hadith which claim , even simple acts of feeding a thirsty animal may lead to salvation and forgiveness. Or just simply being kind to others or your parents, the one who will decide on Judgement Day knows best ! :coffee:

However this is a Defence forum , you won't find salvation here :big_boss:

You got lost when I talked of actual belief. Islam isn't about politics or political ideology.

You serious Clark? Lol, how did the four caliphs run the show when they were in power? By following Islam. Wow I didn't think you could be this dumb.

Lol. No. It's actually very simple. It's your dua (prayers) for forgiveness. Everyone is responsible for their own sin, and Allah forgives all those who ask for forgiveness through genuine repentance without an intermediary.

Anyways....
I do not think religious threads are allowed on PDF

They were rulers who believed in Allah. And they didn't call random people names.

you sir, are a thousand percent wrong. Islam is ALL ABOUT A POLITICAL IDEOLOGY! The ideology is that Allah is the ruler and we are his viceroys. Only HE has the right to legislate, only HE has the right to make laws. we can only enforce those laws in the light of the wisdom that is provided for us in The Quran and the sunnah. whatever rules and regulations we make can only be made so within the framework of The Quranic shariah.

sounds like a political ideology to me.

That rule needs to change. We as Muslims should be able to discuss religion. It's the most important thing in our lives.

I'm sure there are a bunch of liberals reporting this thread as we speak.

@Whitefalcon90 if one doesn't recognise the very creator, then he is already lost.
Keep in mind, and I have said it before, that only losers search for heros. If everyone is doing his/her work, then such societies, religions and system don't need any heros. This salvation by the death of god's son is the same idea, that liberates everyone from their duties.
And hero in this situation is "Jesus Christ, the saviour".

Allah doesn't need humans. Allah is free of needs. Islam exists in an individual in submission to Allah if he were on an island by himself with no one else. Prophet Yunus [Jonah] was trapped in the jaws of a whale in submission to Allah. That was Islam. No political ideology.

Example: Person A , not saying it is anyone particular in forum purely fictional statement

Goes to confessional , admits having tough time figuring out if he is going hell or heaven

The Man cabin asks him : So what is your story ?

Man goes : I kicked out my parent from my home feeling guilty
Man goes : I also did not took good care of my animal at home it died while I was at work
Man goes : I may have dropped a bomb over a Afghan wedding on orders from my Commander
Man goes : I may have slapped my fiancée , due to PTSD
Man goes : I was not around for my kid to teach him good mannerism
Man goes : I might have taken some drugs
Man goes : My actions make me regret things every morning
Man goes : I stole 500 bucks from store where I worked at cashier
Man goes : I may have had fist fight recently where I broke someone's jaw and then left the scene at Bar

Guy in Cabin goes : No problem all sins forgiven go home chill out you going heaven ?!

:coffee: See such things don't add up from any rational point of view

Why is he going to a man when he could just ask forgiveness from Allah? The man can't tell if he is going to heaven or he'll himself how he could tell others?
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said:

قُلْ يٰعِبَادِىَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلٰىٓ أَنْفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَّحْمَةِ اللَّهِ  ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا  ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
"Say, O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

Even after you ask forgiveness from Allah you still are going to be judged and are unsure if you are going to he'll or heaven. The only way one can be sure is to die in the righteous cause of Allah.

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said:

وَلَا تَقُولُوا لِمَنْ يُقْتَلُ فِى سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوٰتٌ  ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَآءٌ وَلٰكِنْ لَّا تَشْعُرُونَ

When you die in the cause of Allah you don't actually die you live on forever.

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said:

وَلَئِنْ قُتِلْتُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ مُتُّمْ لَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَرَحْمَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ

So those who emigrated or were evicted from their homes or were harmed in My cause or fought or were killed - I will surely remove from them their misdeeds, and I will surely admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow as reward from Allah, and Allah has with Him the best reward."

uhm...you do realize that Prophet Yunus AS was trapping inside a whale as a punishment cuz he left his people who were disobedient to Allah before Allah gave him permission to leave, don't ya? He was there as a guide and a spiritual leader for the people to, guess what, POLITICALLY lead to them to path of righteousness and enforcement 6of Allah's commandments. Yes, Allah has no need for humans but he created for the sole purpose of worshipping him even though he does not need us to worship him either. But the question arises that what EXACTLY is worship? doing 5 daily prayers? Well, no...those are prayer (as the word suggests). Prayers are part of worship, prayers themselves is NOT worship. Worship follow His laws in every aspect of life INCLUDING politics.

bluntly put and no offense but it is this exact ideology that has landed Muslims in the mess of corrupt leaders they are suffering today. millions of mullahs throughout the last 400 to 500 years and save a few handful, they mostly limited themselves to the 4 walls of their mosques and madrassahs, not getting involved in politics be it local, national or international/geo-strategic. after all, they are a bunch of "pious religious men", what do they have to do with politics right? just sit in a corner in their places of prayers, write books after books opposing the other sect's ways of praying, enjoys the bowls after bowls of halvas and just wait for death. Well death came to them first in the form of mongols and then in the form of british and french invaders followed by american invaders followed corrupt, filthy looters posing as political leadership.
