Admit it you have lost the argument big time.

I have refuted your biased claims that you made by describing why Jinnah took the case but you seem to be incapable of actual debate.

What about Iqbal? He cried by his grave and Iqbal happened to be Jinnah's father in Politics (according to Pakistani education).

Are you out of your mind, Iqbal had a very faint professional relation with Jinnah, you cannot even find a picture of the two together and you are using the biased Pakistani books as a source.

So what makes you think by removing blasphemy laws in Pakistan will not result in violent riots knowing the depressing state Pakistani Muslims are in today? You will give them another good reason to come out in street and start creating chaos!

When did I say in this thread that we should remove the blasphemy laws?

The first thing would be in our fight against Islamism is that we educate people making them tolerant, open to change and progressive.

However the crtitique of these inane laws must start now.

And just to let you know I myself dont support Blasphemy law and I have given my good reason in previous post. And I personally believe these laws must be removed gradually with education and not the secular education because you will P1ss them off even further.

Whats secular education?

Any education that covers all topics and enhances the thinking capacity of the populace is good however we should limit religious indoctrination or impact of religion on education, its a different subject entirely.

This law has been around for a while if i am not mistaken, people just started to be exploiting it just recently

PPP had 2 terms each after this law was made. Why didnt these champions ever take any actions back then when things where much calm. Their is no dough that Asia Bibi case was set up to stir some more trouble in Pakistan because the elements behind it knows how to play with Pakistani sentiments. PPP neither taser nor his daughter give a flying F about Pakistani citizens.... If they do then they would have stop this on going Crusade by Government of Pakistan on its own citizens. But its clear this case was set up to hurt Pakistan's image and its people's sentiments.

Well, if not law... then what else is there to make sure that people with malicious intent do not 'mis-portray' the religion? Such wrong portrayal, or any display of practices that go against the religion will play important role in the society, because we are still not at the stage where we are not judged by the religion we follow.

Firstly, a secular state would not interfere in religious beliefs. The purpose of religion is guidance and the structure of life so it should not interfere in a true secular state and thus the use of it in any unncessary means will not be an issue because religions will be restricted to a personel capacity.

The aim of a government should be limit the use of religion for the purposes other than personal betterment, then there would not be any requirement for interference in religion.

The aim of the government is not to play God but act as an institute which looks after the social and structural welfare of its nation and people.

If the government does interfere, then its imposing the will of a certain ideology onto others creating animosity, prejudice and persecution.

And any sort of imposition is wrong, but we are still not in the perfect world where we will not be judged for being part of a particular group.

You are acting as if the extremists are more succesful in representing your religion, perhaps the tolerant ones need to do more and counter them.

The problem arises not in the actual perception of a group but how the group behaves and the way it alters the image of its own collective group.

The moderates have failed to counter the extremists and they now require the help of the state to end their destruction of its image.

All I am advocating is, let the state law be the police to make sure the religion is neither diluted, nor misused.

Ok, lets declare the Taliban to be Non-Muslim.

Would they stop using Islamic justification, verses and history to further their cause.

Would we stop associating Islam with them when they continue to talk of Islam.

Would it make any change to their way of spreading their ideologyu through violence.

By making laws like this, you would not alter a damn thing, excpet open a complicated case where religion has become a state controlled system.

And I am damn sure that religion is Gods duty, not the states.

The creator decides and that is that.

self delete ....!

Bro, thats secularism for others, you have a right to do what ever you want.

Secularism has adopted a lot of Plato's doctrine.

In Plato can be found many of the nefarious policies that have been
pursued by the new world order elite, including the elimination of
marriage and the family, compulsory education, the use of eugenics
by the state, and the employment of deceptive propaganda methods.
According to Plato, “all these women shall be wives in common to
all the men, and not one of them shall live privately with any man;
the children too should be held in common so that no parent shall
know which is his own offspring, and no child shall know his parent”.
Compulsory schooling is to be implemented in order to separate
children from their parents, to have them indoctrinated in the ideals
of the state.

I am sick? Why would Pakistan need spoiled brats like her?

Biased? Look its not my fault you are a deluded Jinnah fan so now everything that opposes Jinnah is bias to you.
Are you out of your mind, Iqbal had a very faint professional relation with Jinnah, you cannot even find a picture of the two together and you are using the biased Pakistani books as a source.
Biased Pakistani books no dough but you forgot to mention hypocrite Jinnah. As a politician he should have made clear to the public his real actual stance rather then hide behind a Islamic blanket and play his secular game with the Muslims. As a secular leader his stance to protect a murderer (weather he wanted to reduce his punishment or not) who killed a man for merely publishing a book and expressing his freedom of speech still does not justify. Instead he should have addressed to the public (Muslims) and condemned the murder of the publisher.
Iqbal and Jinnah? Now thats new, all along I have heard Iqbal transformed Jinnah into a Muslim leader from a secular one who did not even thought about a separate land for Muslims before meeting Iqbal.
I found a pic of them together but I really dont care what kind of relation they had.

The proper term would be radical Muslims or misguided Muslims and stop saying Islamism. And also in that fight (use of tongue) liberals also included because they are bunch of wannabe westerners and clashing with the Pakistani-Muslim society. remember the two nation theory?
Whats secular education?

I just term the westernized education as secular because religion is separated from all subjects. Like they want us to learn humans evolved from monkeys and so many stuff that contradicts our religion and so many irrelevant stuff which does not benefits the society. Plus Pakistan must develop its own education system which will benefit them on the long run other then fallow a system which is part of a New World Order system.

Anyways I was talking about educating those misguided Muslims who are creating chaos in the street in the name of Islam. Only Islamic education can cure these people not secular.
