Sale of Loose Milk to be Banned in Pakistan.PFA

A bad decision, taken solely to benefit multinational firms. Small dairy farmers usually don't have the necessary equipment or investment required to install the machinery, and after this decision, they'd have no choice but to sell the milk to multinational firms; increasing the market share of MNs by 95% as stated.
Sometimes competition is good for economy but without local dairy firms? Govt. needs to revise the decision.
Milk producers can always form a union to set the rate for their produce.

And MNs, being monopoly, will charge the consumers more by raising the prices. A solution could be to incentivize dairy farmers to buy machinery on interest free loan.

That is what free market is. Unless MNC's form a cartel (checking cartels is the governments job). That being said; the govt should roll out programs to help out small producers.

Unionizing shouldn't be hard. Rickshaw drivers in Lahore are unionized. It all comes down to being aware of your fundamental rights.

Yeah yeah all of the one and a half billion buy from the dairy societies. Using that yardstick all Pakistanis buy milk from the international an local dairy companies like nestle and olpers. Like is said those who could afford the services of milk man do buy it from the milkman instead of going after the packeted white liquid.
