I think he must have fallen off by mistake.

I dont think so because the article says

@Rashid Mahmood - What do you think happened ?

He got tired of the sausage fest on the ship. Things were getting too hot and heavy for him and he started missing a particular Booty of a Butt who frequents PDF.

his Marathon all the way to Perth or Sydney to meet up with some Pakistanis in case he is not eaten by the crocs or bitten by the creepy crawlies on the way.

Considering most of Australia's nature is designed to kill humans as efficiently and quickly as possible..I doubt he'd have made it.

This can also suggest that he fell my mistake. If he knew he was diving underwater/overwater :-)D), he would have dumped the backpack before taking the leap. Backpacks are heavy and make swimming much more difficult. It is more likely that he fell, then do prevent himself from sinking, removed it and swam ashore.

I know there's a big hole in this argument - why the heck did he not signal to be picked up by the vessel. Guess we need to ask him that. :D

At least 10 Pakistani sailors ditched their crews and apparently went absent without leave in Tokyo during a rare goodwill visit to Japan by two of the country's naval ships on a training cruise, an official said
I wonder if they've been found yet? Or have they opened some kabab restaurants out there in Tokyo?

Oh wait! Do the Japanese eat Kababs? :what:

Good chance for Australian media to spit venom against Pakistan.
We still remember their storm of defamation against Pakistan when they were caught with their pants down, trying to sell diseased sheep to Pakistan.

Can't comment about the story - seems too fantastic. But I must salute at the sailor for his tenacity. Swimming in the seas and reaching the mainland is no small feat.

Pakistani superman swam thru crocodile infested seas to reach Australian coast only to screw with Australian immigration. A show to their enemies that Pakistan navy doesnt need subs to destroy them, our sailors are stronger than subs can swim some 20 miles while figthing crocodiles...Indian Navy you have no chance, dont dare!

Backpack story looks funny ... Why would a sailor jump dozens of miles from the shore with a backpack in croc invested waters ?

Even so... That guy must have real gutts or just pretty stupid & lucky!

Coast of Darwin is infested with salt water crocodiles - either brave or very stupid.

........... or extremely effing desperate.

There is a true story of a French Prisoner in a Penal Settlement in Martinique, W.I. who escapes and then swims through shark-infested waters, gets recaptured but finally makes it on his 3rd attempt. It became the story of a film.
Sheer desperation can make people do anything.
