The story also said that though about 35 eligible members vied for the post but Venkaiah Naidu helped Apparao who worked as Chief Warden of the hostels to get the post.

It's all Modi;s fault. We should ask him to resign immediately & make RaghuRam Rajan our next PM with the ouside support of secular forces

@Nair saab - @danger007 is right when he comes to AP & promises made to it.

Arun Jaitley & Venkaiah Naidu made grand grand promises to AP when it was being bifurcated in the RS which included Special status + a lot more.

During election time,Venkaiah Naidu went all over AP publicizing himself & giving speeches of how he had "Saved Andhra in the Parliament" . He told the entire state how he had got so much for it & even got the PM to praise him & his "hard work" in public.

Now BJP has made a total U-Turn on Special Status promise & isn't giving a time-frame on when it will fulfill the others i.e. Polavaram,separate Railway zone for vishakapatnam,clearing AP's fiscal deficits etc.

Venkaiah Naidu no longer talks about fulfilling the grand,grand promises he promised.

Congress is already dead,BJP is still weak & will not grow until the distrust of people against it doesn't change.

If learning about Asoka, Chanakya, Chandragupta, Vikramaditya, Aryabhatta, Bhaghat Singh, Shivaji, Azad, Netaji, etc. is Saffronization of education then so be it!!

Time our kids know that there more to Indian story then slavery under mughals, british or cons!!

Nothing like that, no need to learn about these Hindu/Buddhist fellows.

We all need to learn Urdu & Farsi & worship Aurangzeb,Tipu,the Nawabs of Lucknow,the various Turk & Afghan Sultanates which ruled India & the Nizams of Hyderabad.

We also should learn more about how great the Foreign Xian invaders were,how they civilized & saved our nation ( like the Islamic invaders did earlier)
& how Islam & Xianity are caste-free egalitarian sweet like sugar religions.

All religions under the Dharmic fold can go somewhere else, no need for them in secular paradise of ours

Thank Nehruu we don't teach our kids about these uncivilized rotten sorry excuse of empires like Vijayanagaram Empire,the Satavahanas,the Ahoms & other Kingdoms of North-East India,the Rashtrakutas,the Chalukyas,the Gajapati dynasty of Odisha & many many other characters/kingdoms.

See i am not diverting the topic... I give my reason, why i don't have faith in BJP ... after looking and analysing series BJP leaders statement before and after election.. it is not just my opinion.... huge some of Andhra people thinks same... literally BJP back stabbed AP ..

Most non-Telugu people in India know nothing about the bifurcation issue & it's consequences. How can we expect others to understand the issue,the anger & the feeling of being left out so easily? Sometimes we have to put ourselves in others body & situation to understand their way of thinking & their POV

To an outsider, it will seem as if you are trying to change the topic or make a move towards diverting it, though being a Telugu living in Hyd. I got your point after some time .
Even I thought the debate was being shifted towards other promises made by the BJP & away from the main one being discussed here.

& there is still time till 2019, let's wait & see if the promises made are fulfilled.Suresh Prabhu got elected from the RS from AP.CBN wouldn't have given him a RS seat so easily,especially when even his old buddy Venkaiah Naidu was asking & pleading with him to give this RS seat to him. (he got it from Rajasthan)

Am clear about my stance... i supported BJP beforw election, I hoped tbey will help AP ..

when did you asked me abour YSR loan waiver... Loan waiver is common when draught hit the area or region.. it is known across many states .. but promising waiver of 1 00 000 cr matters alot.. it will create huge implications on banking system.. may be you have problem with my posts to understand.. I just pointed out about pahlaj nihalani, i pointed about offer from smriti irani to her aide, how she bend rules for tiwari..

KCR is not my problem, they have surplus budget to do.. but we are not... we are at huge loss from power generation to water and properties shares.. why do they think, I am supporter of congress.. when are at loss because of the bifurcation??? If you have friends in banking sector kindly ask them about crop loan interest rates to the govt Sanctioned amount for the waiver ... call me hypocrite, I don't have problem.. but i have problem, when CBN ignore our companies fly around japan,Singapore, china for designs... and he say if it was our people, they may not be able to do.. that's an insult to our engineers and companies... he spent over 100cr in 2 years for just his offices, residence... ironically his family shifted to 5star hotel..
