If Russia is offering the jet to Pakistan then it is up-to Pakistan whether to buy it or leave under any circumstances from quality to price tag but on other hand, if PAF wants to buy subjected platform then it is made sure that how and when to buy because birds are not going to make it PAF in days or even months or one cannot say even in 2 years however, duration of delivery of complete order provides enough time to pay all but in installments. Money wouldn't be issue if SUs are must for PAF as where there is a will there is a way.

Even the influence element is weakened as India has fired it shot by going US and West so only concern remained to the friends is now money by narrating the usual lines.

The real question to be asked is, whether PAF is interested to buy SU-35 or not?

Typhoon is not only a superior fighter but purchasing it would allow us to easily get our hands on radars, HMD, IRST and some other lethal technologies for JF-17 from firms like Selex ES, Leonardo Finmeccanica and BAE. This is something we can't get from purchasing Su-35. Typhoon is expensive but its benefits for PAF are somewhat worth the price. Soft loans from China and fellow Arab countries can let us have Typhoon. Most importantly Typhoon is our only solution to counter Rafale as F-15SE and F-35 aren't available to us.

if India's negotiations with Rafale is a benchmark you are not getting any advanced technologies for your JF-17 just
because you place a Eurofighter deal.

Russia has just lifted all restrictions on weapons sales to Pakistan while international sanctions have been removed on Iran at the same time.

Why would China give you soft loans to buy European fighters? If China is going to lend money to Pakistan to buy fighters, it will be their own. If Pakistan is really interested in buying Typhoons, it will have to raise funds through loans or issue bonds.
