A very gross estimate is 1000/40= 25 AC per year

Well first things first...

1) You didnt comment on the economies of scope so I guess you have lost that argument

2) The graph you have given doesnt apply in every circumstances esp where the fixed cost of producing an aircraft will be much higher than the limits shown in the graph.

The definition of economies of scale wont change but the context with which it is looked at is different.

3) Invalid as 25 isnt the right number.. We should look at a chart where the production starts at 5-10 a year and then scales up to 30-35 and stays there.

What about the increased effenciencies because of the labor becoming more skilled over a period of time?

4) Well if I am producing a specific radar.. I can fit them on mig-35 .. If I am producing an engine for PAKFA.. I maybe able to fit on Su-35..There is a lot of scope of the same parts being used in a lower or equivalent generation of aircrafts.. You dont have to go for 6th gen..

5) Give me a piece of evidence where Su cheif says that they need to produce atleast X number of aircrafts to make it economically possible ( and that X is beyond the numbers to be produced for Russia and India)
