I dont know what to talk with person who thinks that pic of ancient prototype from 1990-es proves they are fully operational and well trained.
The Mig-29K has been in Russian service since 2009 so I don't know where you got the idea that pilots are not trained on it. Moreover, the Mig-29k is like any other modern Mig-29 variant except that it has an arrester hook and folding wings so I don't know where you're getting the idea that there would be no trained pilots for the Mig-29k.
The Mig-29k has made landings on both the Russian and Indian carriers but even that does not matter since the Russian navy operates everything from SU-24s to SU-30s, none land on carriers so does this mean there are no trained pilots for them?
