Russians deploy aircraft carrier to Syrian waters to increase air strikes against mujahideen

I dont know what to talk with person who thinks that pic of ancient prototype from 1990-es proves they are fully operational and well trained.

The Mig-29K has been in Russian service since 2009 so I don't know where you got the idea that pilots are not trained on it. Moreover, the Mig-29k is like any other modern Mig-29 variant except that it has an arrester hook and folding wings so I don't know where you're getting the idea that there would be no trained pilots for the Mig-29k.

The Mig-29k has made landings on both the Russian and Indian carriers but even that does not matter since the Russian navy operates everything from SU-24s to SU-30s, none land on carriers so does this mean there are no trained pilots for them?

Two bombs without targeting pod and fuel tanks - thats nothing

Here is a confirmation of my words. MiG-29K did not achieve the IOC, did not pass tests, no combat training, were not trained even on ground ski-jumps.

First you say Mig-29K can't take off with heavy loads, now that I post a pic of Mig-29K taking off a carrier with two 1000 pound bombs , you say that's nothing? Russophobia is slowly damaging your brain Jew

you and that blogger are gonna look real stupid once Mig-29K starts dropping bombs in Syria :D

I'm not sure I follow the discussions here, but I see that one of the aspect that both sides are arguing is where Russian pilots are trained for Mig-29k or not.

I'm not a militarily guy, but a quick look at Wikipedia shows that it was introduced in 2010. I don't understand how Russia wouldn't train any pilots for it. I don't see a logical reason why they wouldn't train pilots. The unit cost is 32 million dollars. How much would it cost to train a pilot?

Also, if they sold it to India, wouldn't they first have to fly it at a trade show or something? I don't think Russia can tell India, "okay, so we have this plane, but we didn't have time to train anyone, and can't really help you guys with training or stuff like that, but we've included a manual and DVD instruction video, thanks and good luck".

Even if it was not officially deployed, it still does not make any sense at all, they wouldn't have a crew trained to pilot them.

But I'm not a militarily guy. I'm just a pragmatist. Maybe it's actually something that happens in the military world, where they say, let's spend 500 million on a bunch of planes, but we don't have any pilot to can be trained for it, everyone is busy.

1 t is heavy load for u? LOL. I wonder how much internal fuel it carried when took of with them. I guess less than half.

Nice try. Is that a ramp?

Mig-29K is capable of carrying a 6 ton payload

I guess less than half.

Your guess isn't worth jack shit, especially since all your "guesses" have proven dead wrong.

Nice try. Is that a ramp?

No, its not in the picture but as soon as one pops up I will be sure to post it to make you look like an idiot again, ( which does't not take much effort)

So 1 ton is not heavy at all.

We will know it when it will start actually bombing something.

So far u only confirmed my point.

I think we have been through this already. I have debunked you, I'm still shocked that you are maintaining the same story after you were proven wrong.

Do you not feel stupid every time you type?

You claimed that Russia has no trained pilots for the Mig-29, that Mig-29k pilots do not practice landing on land with arrestor hooks or taking off from a ramp.

Bot.

You debunked only in ur dreams. By the way, I found the link where from ur friend took that pics:

http://bmpd.livejournal.com/2050620.html

So this link says than only in June they STARTED ground trainings.

So all we need to do now:

1) Finish ground trainings.
2) Start take off landing trainings on AC.
3) Finish take off landing trainings on AC.
4) Start trainings for CAS, AI, SEAD, DEAD.
5) Finish trainings.
6) Final cheks.

Then u will have IOC.

So far long way to go to IOC. Case closed.

You made 4 claims.

1, Russia has no trained Mig-29K pilots.-- If that were true it would be impossible for a pilot to get clearence to land on a carrier, let alone make a successful landing. Plenty of videos of Mig-29Ks making carrier landings.

2, Russian Mig-29K pilots have not landed on or trained on carrier landings.--In 2009 on the Kuznetsov as well as recently on the Indian carrier Russian pilots have made carriers landings.

3, No Mig-29K has performed on land while using arrestor hooks.--proven wrong with pictures and video.

4, No Mog-29K has performed taking off from a land based ramp.--proven wrong with pictures and video.

As for the Mig-29K training. They recently started training in Crimea.

NOT Mujahedeen ISIS, please correct the sentence. ultron. Why you blame on Mujaedeen?

I said little if at all. And I was more than right. Only now they just tarted trainings on the ground. LOL Very very long way to go.

Honestly when I wrote it I thought they are somewhere at 4-5 but they just started 1).
