Pakistanis would never choose Russia over Turkey . People of this region have been backing Turkey even before Independence ... but we like russia in context of US/Russia conflict because most of us hate US

Turks chose to ignore the brotherly advice. They chose to follow the NATO policies for Syria.

Now, Turks can not say, "we did not know". They did it consciously fully knowing what they were getting into.

Maybe you should use your own wisdom to fix Iran and Pakistan first. Also Iran and Assad are the last one to warn us about these things since the Mullah and Assad has supporting PKK terrorism against us for 3 decades. Actually Iran should be careful since 30 million Azeri live in Iran.

That particular group will do WHATEVER it takes, to take Turkey to the brink of oblivion, no questions asked. As I've said on many occasions, Turkey today is at certain crossroads, where Pakistan was in 1993. It is totally up to the Turks to either learn from the mistakes of others or go down the same treacherous path and learn it the hard way.

1. When did US say they would defend Ukraine's sovereignty ? People blew it out of proportion because US "condemned" Russian acts in Ukraine.

Turkey is one of the strongest nations in NATO , if (which will never happen) Russia decided to attack Turkey , they will need to dedicate their whole army for the cause or most of their military at least, giving US the once in a lifetime chance to weaken and deal with their biggest threat in the last and current century.

We can close that thread. Russia deployed due to Satellite Images and Intelligence Information only SU24/SU25 CAS and SU 30 interceptors and SU34 bombers in Syria.
Most Syrian MIG-29 can not fly due to lack of spares and maintenance.
BUT there is an other country operating MIG-29 s and that's IRAN !

Russia transferred most of his his planes via IRAN and Iraqi airspace,

If we agree that Russian pilots and operators are professionals the hostile act was made from Syria or IRAN!

The same is valid for the Radar lock of SA-sites which lasted 4:15 Min.

There was relatively few foreign jihadist crossing into Russia during the Chechen wars despite the fact that Russia's southern border is largely Muslim and 10x larger then Turkey. So how does that work? All it would take is a few liaison officers embedded at border crossings with the task of catching bride takers and the problem would stop, but that is not Turkey's priority. Turkey knows what goes on and they largely allow it.

And Iran has a vast border, while the Turkish Syrian border is relatively small; moreover, drugs can be hidden in car tires, sewed into clothing or inserted into the human rectum. I don't think it's possible to hid a jihadit in a car tire or shove a jihadist into someone's rectum.
