What they, Shias are saying is if Syria gets invaded by foreigners Russia will respond but that is not true. Russia backed Ratko Mladic with weapons 16 years ago, Serbia were about to attack Albania after Bosnia then Russia warned the NATO not to intervene but they did. What was Russia's response after NATO's intervention? Nothing, just talk and this won't happen because America already agreed to unite with Russia last week. Russia is only giving weapons to Assad for and those money that were given to Russia were from the daddy(Iran) who is defending their son(Assad). If Syria falls, it won't bother Russia. They will withdraw their base and return to their country. They must understand this, but sadly they will never.
