We have heard it all before, but let's consider the other angle here. Do you see the irony on display when the group that's most concerned about "CPEC entrapment" is you lot, considering that Indian media absolutely despises Pakistan and your leadership openly stated they will target Balochistan and oppose CPEC? Why is no other "saner" country accusing China of this alleged entrapment?
Its obvious that you have a bigger concern than Pakistan being entrapped by China. Which is that CPEC might actually work as intended. Its rather ridiculous that you can't come out and state the obvious.
Indians warning Pakistan about CPEC? Mmm that is positive for CPEC. When a friend warns you - take notice. When a enemy warns you - take that as your doing something right.
Let me break it down.
1. For India, if not the Pak PM, it is very much in Indian interests if the Pak Army Chief starts saluting the CCP Chairman in due time. We know that democracy has completely failed in Pakistan. So anything that weakens the army's hold over their own country is welcome by India.
2. But facts are facts, it doesn't change the ground situation that CPEC is significantly unfair to Pakistan.
If, one day, we in India are told that a country like the US or Japan will be buying huge tracts of farmland and a city or two and then populating it with Americans or Japanese, there will be a severe political backlash from the people in India. This is the normal reaction. But you lot in Pakistan have been brainwashed into thinking this setup is all fine. The general Pakistani reaction to CPEC is in fact extremely abnormal.
Also you misjudge India's position. We are not 'warning' you, we are 'telling' you what's in store because we have a free press and our experts can express their opinions freely. Otoh, your scholars have been completely shut out of the media limelight. So all you get is controlled information. We have zero interest in warning you.
3. As for CPEC itself, India is reacting to what is essentially a challenge by China. They have crossed into what we consider to be disputed territory, so we will obviously react to it that way. This has nothing to do with the business aspects of the deal. For India, the transit through disputed territory and the strong possibility of Gwadar having significant Chinese military presence is a security threat to India. If you notice, the Indian govt has only reacted to CPEC from a strategic PoV, they have shown zero interest in the business aspects. So the Indian govt's reaction is normal, which takes you back to point 1.
To sum it up--
Point 1 = China-Pak politics >> Indian govt
has not commented on this.
Point 2 = China-Pak business >> Indian govt
has not commented on this.
Point 3 = China-India politics >> Indian govt
has commented on this.
So Point 1 is in India's interest. Point 2 can lead to Point 1.
Point 3 has nothing to do with either Point 1 or 2.
To solve the problem that arises with Point 3, the Chinese have proposed to change the name of the project, and then reroute it through India. That's their proposition. We are yet to see how the Indian govt will react to it. So, you see, not everything is black and white. India supports Point 2, not Point 3.
Here's more from the horse's mouth.

“India’s position on the issue is well-known. Though India supports connectivity, it has to be open and equitable,” External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said.
I hope this makes India's stand clearer.
In fact, the Indian industry has shown interest in investing in Pakistan. As long as Point 3 is taken care of, the Chinese will open up the Pakistani economy for Indian investment.
