Transport would be another issue since main roads are checked by Ukr fpv drone teams and transport trucks are targeted. Fortifications can be built north closer to Kursk nuclear plant and soldiers can initially be transferred there first. Also building further fortified positions. From there necessary amount of soldiers can use motorbikes-quad atvs to reach necessary zones south. If ukraine didnt bring the artillery yet tracked apcs can also be used over terrain to transfer soldiers instead of roads but it seems Ukr gets everything for this assault gamble like they can have long range nlos atgms.
Another item that can be utilized is R37M a2a missile. It can be converted to an air to ground weapon with a software upgrade in my opinion. It has about 400km range mach 4 and much smaller than Iskander and also much cheaper. It can be used to strike less fortified points inside Kiev when fired from Kursk like Radar sites. Jamming sites. Patriots etc. The usage of all air to ground should consider Ukr F16s cued by ground radar since they dont have awacs. Su35s fly low and then climb high to release the missiles and then dive down again so F16 have very little time to detect and strike back the Russian fighters. Ukraine possibly has gps-glonass jammers in Kiev so missiles should use accurate ins. Seeker might need to be modified to anti radar or image recognition as well. Or a tungsten bullet warhead like atacms can suffice on R37 with INS only as guidance to take out radar sites and vehicles. No direct hit is necessary in that option
