Thanks for the advice. I will stick to facts and common sense.
Russia has managed to hold ground in some Ukrainian lands but at a great cost to its war machine and economy. These losses will continue to mount each day because there is no indication that Ukraine will give up any time soon. I am not sure how this is such a win for Putin because Russia now understands that it cannot attack any country it wants to and get away with it. Georgia was an easy target in 2008 but Ukraine has offered substantial resistance and it is a semi-regional power at best. Russia might face more problems if it manage to piss off US and its allies further.
Don't forget all that NATO support. Also on the Russian side. Iran and North Korea have contributed significantly to their war machine.
China perhaps will too but i'm guessing they're waiting to see how the situation will play out.
