I think Russia is involved in the invasion of Ukraine and targetting of civilian infrastructure. Must be a giant redline for the ukrainians.. no?
Just give Ukraine what it needs to strike whereever those missile platforms take off. They are legitimate targets.

West involved is another thing.

Each time I think as a more possible a formal NATO war declaration against Russia, only as conventional land-based war, no nukes, no air force, limited to Ukraine land.

All the NATO countries beggars, convicts, unemployed and welfare-cases would be mobilized, just like now happens to Ukrainian and Russian people right now.
People with "important jobs" (just like energy in the case of Ukraine, maybe car industry in Germany, and so on) would be excluded.

The result: Millions NATO countries common people dead under conventional weapons in a land based war in Ukraine.

So Ukraine war can be to West young people just like Covid was to Old people, a way of wipe out poor people and make rich states more economically sustainable.

It's already happened in Ukraine and Russia.

Actually, the number for removal during trump was dropped, that does not mean illegal immigration dropped, that just mean the number of deportation and apprehension is lowered. There is no actual way to know the actual number of illegal immigrations to US during any presidency. I mean illegal alien would not put their hand up in a poll and say they are illegal so there is no real way to know the number.


No, I mean absolute power for government, ie if the government can go ahead with a policy, there is not a mechanism in place to stop that policy from happening. In the US, you can filibuster a policy even if you have majority of the Congress backing. In Europe, you comprise with party and/or coalition to make policy, once that was done, it is a done deal, but in the US, even if you get the number, it means nothing, that is why 28 odd Congressmen/Congresswomen can block a bill in a 435-seat congress.

Deportations aren’t even a drop in the bucket of the overall number, it’s all about illegal crossings which were down dramatically under the previous administration and the laws and “deals” with other countries which were removed by the current administration directly have caused the crisis, this is common knowledge.

Make employing illegal immigrants a felony with lifetime imprisonment.
Program to allow employers to hire foreigners legally. They take responsibility for the employee.
No employment without showing a national id-card.
Give citizenship to illegal immigrants reporting employers hiring illegal immigrants.
Register the social security number of each employee.
Payment through bank account only.
No bank account without social security number.

This is the same type of whining that blocks the US from developing to a great society.
Pity that the Ukrainans have to suffer.

It’s already illegal it just isn’t enforced by the current administration. Case in point Tesla is being sued by the feds for not hiring illegals, you literally can’t make this clown show up.

Hats off to the germans, though.
They came from “lets get high on russian gas” and “maybe send a few helmets” and “peace at all cost” to one of the leading supporters. Even though they seriously had budgetted away much of their military stocks.

The Germans were given a choice at the beginning of the special operation. Abandon your NATO allies allies and don't support Ukraine and all that nice natural gas will just keep flowing, or don't do so and the cheap gas that has kept your heavy industry competitive will stop. The Germans decided to make the moral choice to rather de-industrialize than live on their knees. And this is what is happening.

Has NATO reached peak military production performance levels? I'm asking because 4 NATO countries have essentially interrupted military aid to Ukraine at this moment:

1. US- US didnt include aid to Ukraine in the recent govt financing round that lasts 45 days, its temporary, but still, its a suspension of at least some military aid to Ukraine at a critical moment.
2.UK- Just announced it has no more ammunition to give Ukraine, so an unintentional arms embargo due to lack of supply.
3. Poland - Has a simmering issue with Ukraine that started with grains but went into the military aid area- Poland announced recently that it will not supply Ukraine with any more military aid.
4. Slovakia- New PM has promised not to send Ukraine any military aid.

All we need to know about what it takes for Ukraine to actually have a chance of winning the war and its territories back is that Ukraine doesn't have it! NATO weapons and tactics have fallen short and failed...on the battlefield. NATO's big mistake was that it decided to challenge Russia at a time that Russia was wealthy, strong, composed,resourced (especially militarily) and organized. But NATO is such a joke, its going to break up probably before end of next year, because all it has around and in it is failures-it has no recent military wins, lots of members in debt or not living up to their due commitments, is low on ammunition from supplying Ukraine so much (which didnt pay off), low on allies, low on unity within the alliance, its a mess.

Actually NATO was looking dysfunctional and perhaps headed for the dustbin of history. UNTILL Russia decided to reinvigorate it immensely by first attacking Ukraine and then not winning in a few days.

Nothing has given NATO more of a renewed reason for existence, a revived sense of purpose, than Russia quickly transforming itself from a post cold war ally and reliable peace & prosperity partner into the devil incarnate out to reclaim the Bessarabian and other gaps.

There may be squabbling over things like grain dumping and the like, but don't be fooled... NATO country weapons-purchasers and their staffs, newly invigorated after decades of semi-unemployment, have veritably been getting jet-lagged from criss crossing the world on military purchasing trips, writers-cramps from signing so many military purchase deals and sore arms from, figuratively speaking, hefting such long, long defence shopping lists and suitcases of national treasure to pay for it all.

Were it not for all the bloodshed, military export countries should be erecting statues in Putin's honour out of gratitude.

With eight parties in the parliament of Sweden, everything is about negotiations and compromise. The last time we had a single part6 getting 50+% of the votes was in 1968.

It's not about party.......It's about the government have absolute power.

Once you formed a government, the government have absolute power to exercise their policy. This is not the case in the US, case in point, Democrats are in power but since the house of rep was taken by GOP in a minimal margin (I think it's 8 or 9) democrats can't push policy into the congress without the other party agreed.

As I said, even 28 or 30 member of congress can block a bill, that is what I meant by US government not having absolute power.

Again, it does not necessarily mean the illegal immigration is down, it just meant the apprehension number is low, it could well be they didn't catch that many. It does not reflect anything about the true number, the true number could be way up, but if they didn't report or catches these illegal aliens, it would still have a low apprehension rate.

It's like saying arrest is down so crime is down, it is not necessarily the case here. As I said there are no factual or referential figure reliable enough to say illegal immigration is down.

It's against the constitution for anyone to do the 3 things I highlighted. It's protected by 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th amendment. Especially National ID card, the issue with green card is already controversy. It would probably trigger riot second to taking out 2A right.

Well Trump didn't do much in curbing illegal immigration either. I wish he did. Also need to curb H1B, continuation of H1Bs in high numbers makes Americans less employable and they don't acquire the skills they need to.
