Russia-Ukraine War - News and Developments PART 2

I agreed...

From the beginning, Ukraine was not in a position to fight a war against Russia. Zelensky made big blunders by not going the political way.

Who will be a loser?

Russia -? No, they have natural resources, and once it is over, only the EU and the West will be in line to buy from Russia.

Ukraine, It ends with what? destruction of the country and the loss of a big part of Russia?

A lot of people have lost their lives, and both sides are equally responsible, including the US, NATO and the WEST.
This much like a 60s - 70s style mindset that natural resources drive the future. The natural resources it has were in a decline state before the war, and the green energy transition has accelerated it because of war....

Its like a country rich in whale oil in the middle 1800s has plenty of it (it was used to light lamps), but the rest of the world has started using electricity and made whale oil irrelevant.

Same applies on the industrial side: you can't be an industrial economy without having an independent path to semi conductors. China has partially established it.

EU countries have been devoid of natural resources (other than Norway for oil) and are advancing because of other capabilities.

And finally, yes certainly NATO can be blamed. But this narrative assumes that Ukrainians are dumb and stupid and should give up to their occupier. May be this is the approach your society has used, but some populations don't believe in this. The Afghans didn't believe this in the 1800s under British, in the 80s against Russia, and in the 2000s against ISAF.

Nobody controls a population to go die to defend for what they believe in: not NATO, not EU, and not Russia. So give the Ukrainians some credit for doing what THEY feel is right for them (you don't have to agree with them). I think Ukraines' resilience has actually surprised NATO as they didn't give HIMARS 4 months to the invasion when they realized what the defenders accomplished with defensive weapons and pushed back the RUssians

Mixing and matching History to suite your agenda I see. I don't take people seriously who think that the Soviet Union and modern day Russia are the same thing. I'll briefly break it down for you.

1. USSR - An entity created and controlled by Zionists/Banksters/Marxists under which crimes against ethnic minorities took place. When the Soviet Union broke up, these very people created mini pockets of resistance and separatists to stab Russia as they lost their grip on power.

2. Russia - A independent state, snatched back from the hands of the manipulating Zionists which is debt free externally and a slave to no external entity. A country which is diverse and extremely resource rich which is what is making the asses of the West itch endlessly. It is why Putin said in his speech that he will "Find the traitors and parasites" within Russia and pick them off one by one. This is also why Israel is agitated and why you have a large volume of Zionists fleeing Russia for Israel over the last couple of years.
Even if we ignore russian empire and soviet russian history.

Russian federation also showed gross misconduct in chechen and syrian wars, tampered with minority rights, and illegalized tartar language schooling in crimea.

There is a reason so many of its eastern european colonies view it with great distrust. Cause russia did not turn into a sheep overnight.

But keep up with your conspiracy theory bullshit while ignoring historical facts.

Now, They don't have a choice; they must fight as hard as they can.

But I strongly believe that Ukraine will be a loser. Even if Russia pulls back to the actual line of control.

Who will be responsible for the destruction? Lots of people lost their lives in the war. Ukraine is almost destroyed, and recovery from such destruction will take another few decades.

People should go back to the start of the war... Wasn't there any political option?

If yes, then why was not choose that one? Ukraine was never in a position to fight a direct war with Russia.

i.e.: You are saying that Russia is technologically behind than China in 2001. Maybe you're right.

Chinese are very quiet, they dont want to expose themselves. They like to look falsely weak.

I wont be surprised if all Western military hardware captured in Ukraine is already reverse engineering in Chinese labs.

George Soros, real POTUS, was babbling about his fear about Russia and China military cooperation one year ago, and Satan doesnt talk without reason like unworthy politicians. He must know very well what he's talking about.
you had all the logic in the world till the last sentence: come on, stop being like a Fox audience and stay with where you have sense. Whats next, Putin is a CIA plant as only the CIA would want Russia to be in the situation it is now

This one is especially for all the brown sahibs on here praising the Ukrainians. Lakh Di Lanat! They are ukro-Nazi fascists fighting a war for the Zionists. Time for Chechens to raise another regiment to slaughter these pigs.

Okay russian slave (brown or not). I don't believe a random twitter post from west or east. You could do yourself a favor and not either (from either side)

I give escorts in future to protect the drone. We don't want to encourage the Russians to keep shooting down drones and give no response. Russians respect strength. You can ask Turkey when they shot down a Russian fighter bomber and Russia didn't do anything.
I don't think the US can play victim here. It has been deliberately 'fingering' the situation via its surveillance flights close to the war zone. To eventually provoke. If US really needed this intelligence it would send armed escort with it.

I don't think US would like Russian drones off its florida coast (in international waters). We got a glimpse of that with the balloon situation. In this scenario , after doing this for a year, it was eventually expected that there will be some retaliation. May be the US keeps doing it. May be it supports it with some EW jamming assets to make it harder to detect, or AWACS to allow drone to withdraw so SU27s are chasing ghosts.

Either way, i am surprised it took this long for RuAF to react...

The amount of destruction Ukraine has experienced is a small fraction of what was unleased on Germany with carpet bombing. It took 10 years to recover with full strength of Marshall plan. If its military backers are fully committed , then this will be on the otherside of this war. Only difference is Russian frozen funds will pay for it.

It's not the first Russian lie.

But if you count Americans lies and Russian lies, Americans win.
If you count Americans lies and everybody else lies, Americans win.
If you count Americans lies and the rest of universe lies, Americans win again.

USA is the most liar empire in mankind history, that's his main feature.
nobody in US or Europe goes to jail for speaking against the war. There are no national security laws against speaking out. Heck Fox news is full of them including your beloved loser Col Mcgregor. Even Florida Governor has gone against this.

Show me where this dissent of opinion is tolerated in Russia where there is an equivalent of RT where they broadcast the counter view, then your American 'lies' theory has some legs to stand on.

Unbelievable... The Kievan regime, this oh-so radiant beacon of "freedom & democracy" as per official NATO and zionist rhetorical guidelines, is mobilizing what looks to be a group of local workers of the International Committee of the Red Cross to publicly ostracize and mistreat citizens! We've really seen it all with this pathetic regime of impostors.

NATO-style "democracy" and "human rights" = a methodical hoax designed as a prelude to accusatory inversion (projection), arrogance, hubris. Any questions left as to why the rest of the world has had its fill of their oppressive bullying?
Dear member, what era and what is your source of information. 141 countries in UN in Feb against Russian invasion. Only 6 fringe support Russia , with 32 abstaining. Are the six states your definition of 'rest of the world': North Korea, Iran, Belarus, Nicargua, Syria the center of your 'rest of the world'.

Is Russia a Western country?

Definitely not. Russia is an Asian country.

While Russian language is Slavic, Russians are whites by their race and Russian religion was Christianity before Communism killed it off, Russia is first and foremost the spiritual and societal heir of the Mongol Khanate. Russia slid irrevocably off the Western cultural sphere after 1237 and the Mongol Conquest, and the last vestiges of any Western heritage were obliterated in 1471 when Muscovy crushed Novgorod and destroyed it for good. The 243 years of the Mongol Yoke from 1237 to 1480 did Mongolicize Russia thoroughly. The irony is, of course, that today’s Mongolia is a rather nice and civil place, and would be one of the Economic Tigers if there wasn’t the widespread alcoholism problem.
It is far harder to define “what is Asian” rather than “what is Western”, but Russia definitely is not a Western country, and Russia relates to anything Western with utter hostility.
Let us inspect what makes Russia a non-Western country:
  • Authoritarian Patrimonialism. This is a form of government which has never really existed in the West, but is extremely common in Asia. In Authoritarian Patrimonialism, all power, both violence, economic and societal, are concentrated to one man, and everything radiates from him, and the country is considered to be his personal property. The ruler is above the law. This is an astonishingly stable form of statehood, and immune to any attempts to reform it. It really doesn’t matter if we call the ruler as Czar, Emperor, Premier or President, the system is just the one and the same.
  • Never having had either Feudalism nor Capitalism. Russia has never had either Feudal nor a Capitalist society. Russia has never experienced a form of statehood where the aristocrats or the entrepreneurs are independent from the ruler and being independent and self-standing. There has never been any checking power to the ruler and his power. There has never been anything like Magna Charta in Russia.
  • No rule of law. The ruler and his cronies are above any laws, and there is no independent jurisprudence. The judges and prosecutors exist solely as tools of the ruler to punish anyone who protests against the ruler. The law exists solely to prop up the state apparatus. Russia can be best described as an anarchotyranny - anarchy for crooks, tyranny for law-abiding peasants.
  • No civil society. Everything is dependent of the ruler, and there can be no independent organizations of individual citizens. The control of the state is total - it extends from the top of the society all the way to the peasant level.
  • Totally corrupt from the bottom level to the top. This is a part and parcel for all Authoritarian Patrimonialisms, but Russia has turned the knob up to eleven. As the only ways for the ruler to keep the cronies in control are punishments and favours and there is no rule of law, it means eveyrone steals and embezzles. Punitive measures follow only if someone steals too much or from a wrong person.
  • Macho honour culture, toxic masculinity and adoration of violent behaviour. While Westerners usually consider a violent fist hero as a dork, the Russian ideal of muzhik, “good man”, is of someone who cajoles with his higher-ups and keeps anyone below him in control with fists. Russian men display all the properties of machismo and toxic masculinity, and family violence is a non-issue as it is considered “keeping up home discipline”.
  • Widespread alcoholism and drug abuse. How do they drink vodka in Northern countries? In Sweden - with water. In Finland - without water. In Russia - like water. Alcohol is a coping mechanism, in Sweden and Russia because the winter sucks here, but in Russia because everything sucks.
  • Abject poverty aside astonishing opulence. The ordinary Russian has always been poor as a church mouse, while the cronies of the ruler have always been rich beyond any measures - because they get the opportunity to steal. Since the lack of the rule of law and lack of the civil society and total societal rottenness make any long term plans to get wealthy impossible, the Russians appreciate conspicuous consumption above all - to display you’re on a lucky streak now. No use to save anything because all your assets can be seized at any moment.
  • Ethical bigotry. No tolerance for sexual or gender minorities, no tolerance for Hippies or similar alternative lifestyle, no tolerance for Liberal or Libertarian mindset, no tolerance for independent opinions or any dissidence. A nail standing up gets beaten in.
  • No middle class. The ordinary Russian has always been a peasant and poor as a church mouse, while those in favour of the ruler are opulent beyond any measures. One of the features of Feudalism was the rise of independent cities and city bourgeoisie and middle class. There has never been a middle class in Russia - just the dirt poor peasants and filthy rich upper class. Instead there has been a lot of middleman minorities - Jews, Armenians, Georgians, Latvians and Finns.
  • No independent media. Independent media - the watchdog of the rulers - is an integral part of the Western society. It is an absolute no-no in Russia - everything is controlled by the state.
  • No human rights. None. Full stop. The Russians consider the concept of human rights as a devious plot to weaken the sacred fatherland and limit the omnipotence of the ruler, and demolish the power structure based on subjugation and physical violence.
  • Total blend of state, businessmen and organized crime. Russia can best be described as a mafia which has its own state and peasantry. The government sets a blind eye on the organized crime as long as it can use it to perform dirty operations both home and abroad, and the line between mafia bosses and Russian businessmen is one drawn on water.
  • Concept that Russia is perpetually in war with West. This is an important feature. For Westerners, there is war and there is peace. For the Russians, there isn’t. There are only various stages of conflict, varying from coerced armstice to all-out bang-bang war. Russia experiences it is perpetually in war with West, and relates to West with hostility, enhancing it with dirty operations, state vandalism, assassinations, sabotages and cyber assaults - all the time poking where West might be weak.
The Western world is the heir of Greek philosophy, Roman jurisprudence, Christianity and Enlightment.

Russia is the heir of Genghis Khan.

The french also flushed their toilets and thats not newsworthy no more so than this in this forum.

This protest is opposing the policy of increasing retirement age to bring it closer to other Eruopean countries since the rich nation retirement system is not financially solvent because people living longer than the original rules assumed. There were protests against mandatory vaccination as well by 2% of the population.

You clearly live in a place where a protest is newsworthy on a defence forum....If Putin had guts and really was confident about how much support he has of Russian people he would remove the laws banning dissent on the operation vs. hide behind the facade of fake stadium staged events. Btw, there are no fake stadium events Marcon has for his retirement plan because he will get it done

Violence never has to come to it putin choice and for the innocent people it’s always the wrong choice

Minsk 1and 2 were both just ceasefires, the Donbas separatists / Russia broke both. Also, Russia started the conflict by invading Donbas and Crimea in 2014, so they are the ones who have to compromise on something if they wanted a peaceful solution not state more demands.

.
History suggests otherwise.
Doesn't matter how long would take
Russia will take slow and will continue to fight day by day.

They will only rethink if something changes that would be US providing fighter jets like f16s. That's when Russia will pause and rethink

I don't think dictators like Putin can ever afford to 'rethink'. If they are seen as failures in foreign wars, then they know what's coming. Look at the Soviet Union history of leadership competition which were all the time bloody and backstabbing. Russia is an inheritor of that legacy.
If it would come to a point where F16s or some other more lethal weapons would start to make a difference then my prediction is that Russia would even resort to tactical nukes on Ukrainian bases and battlefields and I also think China would not let Russia fail, in which case the war would be over within a very short time: The Chinese have the capacity of cheap, mass production of weaponry which exceeds even American capacity.

.
Weren't these the same Chechen guys who just fifteen years ago, were trying to kill as many Russians as they could?lol . Are the Chechens stupid or something? Why are they fighting for the Russians, the same Russians that have been killing them for centuries years?

Because there is peace and massive reconstruction in Chechnya. Which population wouldn't want that? Human beings have been raiding, pillaging, conquering, occupying lands for thousands of years. But when they are given decent terms they settle down.

1. USSR - An entity created and controlled by Zionists/Banksters/Marxists under which crimes against ethnic minorities took place. When the Soviet Union broke up, these very people created mini pockets of resistance and separatists to stab Russia as they lost their grip on power.

And the same group of people also motivated the West to support the Mansheviks against Bolsheviks?? No. The foundation of the Soviet Union was built upon a long cherished human desire of a Utopia and Marx's 'Communist Manifesto' of the mid 19th century played a major role in shaping the events of Russia and indeed for the West as far as the rights of the workers.
I didnt say nothing against comediands. I love political bad taste jokes :enjoy:. South Spanish coast and Canary islands can be acceptable in Winter, but the rest hasn't nothing to envy to real cold zones.

Off topic: But the Canaries and Ibiza sound so wonderful in winter!!! They actually have much milder winters than even here in the American South (!) where I live! Just a couple of days ago I recorded -5 C outside my house--yes, this late in the 'winter'. This morning was -2 C. Tonight something like -3 C.
