This is by the way also the reason why we don't see much of Russian BTRs on the front, while Russia have gazillions of them on the paper. Most of BTRs went to police, and political paramilitaries (obviously driving a wheeled vehicles is much more practical in urban terrain)

We will see. Putin sent both the 1st tank army and the national guards to the military campaign against Ukraine. Their role is actually protecting Moscow. Now those units are much decimated. If not dead then wounded. Putin is the king without clothes.

Putin still can throw the FSB agents as suicide bombers against Prigozhin’s army.
