Russia lost the war on day 1. They made bold claims they could take the whole Ukraine within weeks. The claim has not been achieved, a year on. The Russian military is not that good.

I agree, the Russian military has under-performed, but the bottom line is that they now have more strategic land than before the war. This is now a slow grind war and without a doubt, the Russians have more stamina and so with all things being equal, Russia will come out victorious. Of course, if NATO gets directly involved then this changes the whole game and Russia has stated that their military is no match for NATO. In such an instance, nukes will be used without a doubt and that will be a catastrophe for the World. Better, now that the clown of Kiev makes concessions and pursues peace before another wave of Russians launch a counter-offensive to grab more land.

I also wondered how they can capture these vehicles weighing dozens of tons with some grunts without heavy retrieval machines.
