Russia-Ukraine War - News and Developments PART 2

. . .
Ukrainian authorities call on citizens to evacuate #Bakhmut immediately

Onet: A Polish special forces unit has been created in Ukraine
A unit called the Polish Volunteer Corps would carry out reconnaissance and sabotage missions.
A certain number of special forces personnel are already preparing for combat missions.

The battles of Bakhmut, lensed by the Ukrainian forces

Coinciding with the complaint of the Chief of Wagner that his organization does not receive proper support from the Russian Ministry of Defense... the head of the Financial Security Department of the Russian Ministry of Defense responsible for the financial supply to support the Western military sectors. falls from the 16th floor window in St. Petersburg, where passers-by found her body on the road..

. .
Xi Jinping said that when he was young, he carried 100kg of wheat and walked for 5km on a mountainous road without changing shoulders. Running 100 meters on the Ukrainian flat plains with 50kg load is probably nothing for Xi.

Wel, all I can say is...........

"It was a different time back then...."

Nowadays, I am pretty sure I will use a car and haul 100 kg of wheat or rice or whatever instead of hauling it around by myself.

US assesses more than 200K Russians have been killed or wounded in the last year

Think almost the entire pre-war staff.

The initial invasion force was 240k, with only 170k being Russian regulars, and only around 80k of them being from prime rib staffed units.

With 1500 officers lost, Russian army will have to be recreated from scratch as even military academy officers were shipped to the meat grinder.

That's probably the worst thing about the Russian military now. And that's what I have been saying repeatedly.

Remember, Russian military does NOT have a NCO corps. Which mean unlike US Military, it would have been a lot harder to replace it because there aren't any command position in Russian Army to replace, for us, I was a platoon commander. If I was taken out, my Platoon Sergeant (E-7) would take over, and if he was also taken out, a senior squad Sergeant (E-6) will take over. And then people kind of slot into places, and if the strength of the Officer Corp started diminishing, we would put those E-7 and E-6 into officer via Battlefield Commission. That you can beef up your leadership in a pinch.

You can't do that in Russia because a Russian Sergeant is like our Specialist (E-4) they don't lead troop into battle, which mean their command ability is limited, which mean if you loses a bunch of Junior Officer, unless you demote senior Officer into the role, you are going to take a chunk out of their command leadership experience of what or who can lead those troop into battle.

Now imagine you have loses a bunch of officer in the field, and then you expand the rank by conscripting people and mobilising the reserve......I mean, you can't just put 300,000 or whatever amount of soldier into battlefield, you need people to lead them, and those people must have command experience, where are all those people come from?

. .
Russia casualty rate runs closing 1,000 men per day. There are increasing villages in Russia where no young men below 25y. That’s terrible however not terrible enough for Putin.
Russia must suffer more deaths more casualties before Putin accepts the reality and negotiates a real peace deal. The breaking point probably would be 2,000 men casualty rate per day for Russia. That’s the assessment of the West.
