Russia to partner in AMCA Technologies

.
Which are not part of the EW

Everything works as a unit.
Even the external jammers are russian sap-14 and 518.

The point i am making is radar and irst are much important than maws/rwr(if we have to choose) and these are still russian.Secondly we need 5 th gen tech and getting pakfa equipment is practical and easier as we are 50% partners in pakfa(subject to signing of contract of course).

Tell that DRDO, their blind faith in the US caused a lot of trouble for LCA and now they test AMCA windtunnel models in the US, aim on US engines.
It might end on the engine, which however will limit the Russian contribution of TVC too, but the US companies might offer partnerships on the fighter itself too. In S. Korea Boeing offered a team up based on the F18SH and basing AMCA on that + GE 414 engines, would actually be a great chance for a naval NG carrier fighter. But sadly DRDO is too limited in planing and project management, besides that US government approval for such a development might be rejected.

A bit off topic.
But I had a subject about the project management during my engineering graduation .It was an optional subject .
And one topic was about the management of most advanced research projects .At Current scenario it might be out dated.
But that method was firstly introduced by US for its research in Polaris missile . The working culture of DRDO seems to be bad to worse.Every projects will face delays and other obstacles.I think this is their failure in adopting nuanced management method .By seeking help from three nations they are looking for diversifying their AMCA project ,perhaps for reducing risk factor .God knows whether it will be works or not .

50% really ?
Economical wise .Yes I agree.
On technical perspective I dont think so.
LCA is our culmination of aerospace development .We dont have anything more than that.

I meant that only................we donot even make 50% of lca and u thought i inferred we will contribute 50 percent of tech in pakfa:sarcastic:

Says who? Only we take the same wingtip pods, doesn't mean that the jammers in it are the same as in the Russian system. We actually don't use any Russian jammers, in MKIs or MIg 29s.

.
The article doesn't say that, but that we have asked the Russians for joint tech developments, like TVC. That's actually would be a refreshing new attempt to deal with our shortfalls, but highly unlikely that we can fit a Russian TVC system on a US engine right? And with DRDO's habit to ignore the Russians, IRDW might be making things up.
But AMCA requirements is for 2D TVC which American can provide for their GE Engines . Russians will be providing much needed stealthy technology as a price for buying 2 fifth generation aircraft . Su35S 5th generation version and PAK-FA . Actually 3 if u take Super Sukoi upgrade into account. Ranging from stealth structure to special coating . Other than that fast release of weapons by PakFa is very credible and very fast . This might used for AMCA . As this is one of the requirement . Wide range of weapons can be integrated like weapons used for Super Sukoi SU35S + + and FGFA . But don't think Israel ll be left out they forms the high tech support for AMCA or FGFA avionics etc

Yeah right:coffee:

Total shyte considering a power of 3.5 kw and range of 100 km,,don't keep ur hopes up.

Since when did the newly started program attained top performance of 250km ?Cut the BS Mr.
That AESA would mature enough for Mk 2

@he-man It's not shit although presently it's In its prototype stage
If you want more knowledge about it @amardeep mishra can guide you

100 km range of its is against 2m2 target which standard rate DRDO set For it's radar it GAN Based AESA

In aero 2015 KRET institute offered assistance for uttam

Forget the Russians, they are clowns. French, Israelis, S.Koreans, Japanese and Eurpoeans are a much safer bet.
