The 5th International Military-Technical Forum Army-2019 started in Patriot Park in the Moscow Region on Tuesday and will run until Sunday.

Up to 120 nations participated in the forum's opening ceremony, which is twice more than in 2018. In addition, 101 foreign firms are partaking in the event. Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency is an official media partner of the forum.

Putin the zionist would hide behind sanction threats against Moscow if any weapons are attempted to be sold to Iran. Putin and trump, both zionist friends would work together as good 'cop', bad 'cop'. Putin is supposedly friends with Iran, and want Iran to delay any departure of the JCPOA until trump wins re-selection and has hypersonic missiles to destroy any expensive equipment of Iran during a war.

By that time, S-500s would be required and Putin is not offering them to be sold to Iran in 2020, even if Putin were a real ally of Iran.

If Iran is going to buy any other air defence system ever again, it must be the s-500. S-400 will be more advanced than the upcoming Bavar-373, but that is in no way enough reason to justify spending billions of $ buying the s-400. I doubt the gap between the initial Bavar variant and s-400 will be that much anyway. That money should be spent on improving our own systems. Anyway as we can see, our own air defences are showing themselves in real situations.

if Russia does end up selling the S400 then this crises will be over and the American forces will leave this area for another weaker defenceless country to invade.
but it appears Russia would rather see Americans waste themselves in another war instead of preventing the war by selling a formidable defence system

What Iran could use is an immediate sale of technology (ToT) on the S-400s and S-500, this would bypass trump from sanctioning Russia, for this would happen immediately and would not take weeks to approve and ship. To have Iran make them license.

If Putin is only going to sell S-400s and has them ready, I would take them. The nuclear sites need a lot of protection. Another layer of protection by S-400s would greatly help.

Getting the 40N6E would be something that might counter some lower end hypersonic missiles.

No one does ToT for such superior technologies , why would Russia miss on multi billion dollar deals , countries will simply buy cheap licensed system from Iran

Iran bought S-300PM2 which like S-400 formerly called S-300PM3 is a late 1990s system. S-400 formerly called S-300PM3 is somewhat more advanced than S-300PM2 but not by much, only a bit. Iran can reverse engineer S-300PM2 into Bavar 373.
