Russia offers PAK-FA to Greece if they agree to buy Su-35's

Who are the direct potential customers during the Sukhoi: Algeria with a possible purchase units in the 1924-1936 period of 2025-2030, Argentina on 12-24 units in the years 2035 to 2040, Brazil in 1924 to 1936 points in the years 2030-2035, Venezuela by 24-36 points over the period 2027-2032, Vietnam with 12 to 24 units during the years 2030 to 2035, Egypt in 1912 to 1924 units during the years 2040-2045.

Also on the list referred to Indonesia (6-12 units during the years 2028 to 2032), Iran (1936 to 1948 units during the years 2035 to 2040), Kazakhstan (12-24 points during the years 2025 to 2035) China (up 100 units in 2025 -2035 years), Libya (1912 to 1924 units during the years 2025-2030), Malaysia (12-24 points during the years 2035-2040) and Syria (12-24 points during the years 2025-2030).

Can anyone explain what these "points" are? What does "Algeria with a possible purchase units in the 1924-1936 period of 2025-2030" mean?

I had a similar question. Perhaps we should get a Russian member to do the translation since the OP said that the article translation had errors.

There is a small but potent Russian lobby in Greece pressuring them to go for the Su-35 as their next fighter purchase. I would think a order may come soon to counter our order of 30 F-16 CCIPs coming in next year. That is if they have the funds.

Jigs. . . How many su- 35 fighters did greece intend to purchase

@gowthamraj

The Hellanic Airforce is planning atleast 300 of these fighters and they dont intent to buy Su-35 specifically. It will be a decision with mainly the Eurofighter Typhoon, Dassault Rafale, JAS 39 Gripen, F-35 Lightning II, and the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. But since its economy is in shambles the numbers could be much low.

They actually want to replace A-7E Corsair II and F-4 Phantom II, which comes around 90+

russians are lobbying for Su-35.

Since its a NATO nation , nothing can be predicted.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder my friend. I not only love the F-4 airframe but the infamous A-10 as well. I do agree, however, that Corsair was a pretty ugly plane. Must've been the long chin (intake) and fat body.
