There is big difference between Soviet Union and Russia.(We Slavs(except some Western Slavs who get westernized and become more like Western Europeans)are very similiar,so there is no big difference betweeen Serbia and Belorus,Bosnia or Ukraine).

In the Soviet Union majority of childrens and teenagers want to become astronauts.
Today most of teenagers who just finished high school want to become managers,football players,some celebrity stars....

That is degradation of youth,that happens in my country too.

I dont want that my country becomes like North Korea,where individual are supposed to serve collective orders,but every society must have aware of belonging to nation and country.
Today youth don't have that kind of awareness.

That is a reason why I admire you Japanese and Japan.You have a great awareness of your country.

There is this doctor I know who got his MBBS from russia and he had a hard time getting certificate from AIIMS so that he could practice in India. Good thing is he got the licence but no hospital in Delhi recruited him.
I don't think medical degrees of russia are worth anything.
Dunno about engineering though.

Sources say after doing MBBS in Russia, the studnet ahs to give a test in India.

If he passes exam only then he is allowed to practice.

This is not criteria for US scientists. The scores of Asian and Indian kids in US colleges are American too?
btw, he studied in the faculty of electrotechnics over here, and then after the invite of his uncle moved to USA where he did his doctorate.

The greatest scientist in world history along Isaac Newton and A.Einstain,Nikola Tesla was Serbian,but without American money he would not done anything.He declare himself as American of Serbian origins.
Without him modern world would not exist.
