What's new

Russia is the most educated country on earth

Its ok to Admit Russian won the space war , they even own the international space station as they only can supply that station with supplies

HAHAHAHAHAHA !!!! Yeah, they shot more dogs and monkeys into space. Forgot about that little Moon thing, huh ?

And remember when the U.S. brought down the Soviet Union (chuckle) without firing a shot ? You know, that great Soviet Union the one that had to build a wall to keep people from escaping ? Soviet Union.....HAHAHAHAHAHA !!!

OK means B? B is retard, I'm sorry to say that. The homeworks or exams are too easy here. But still, students can't get a high score for lots of stupid reasons.

A 'B' at Wharton is 'retard' ?

I don't really know how tough is Wharton. I got all A's in a top 10 university. As long as you put enough time
and good at drawing conclusions from many examples, getting all A is not difficult. Dont understand why so many students waste money to have to retake the class again.

Wharton is Penns' business school. You would EASILY know that if you went to a 'top 10' U.S. university.

Of course I know wharton. But I haven't taken any classes in U penn, thus dont' have a feeling the toughness of that university.
Plus, I study engineering, which for me is easier cause you can always find answers of a problem.

I guess for business, you have do a lot of survey or something which takes a lot of time, thus tougher?

Continued success to all young and aspiring Russians! I've had the pleasure of working with Russians before and they are not only professional in demeanor, but their knowledge in their field of interests is to be applauded. Had the honor of working with Russian industrial engineers before, as well as managerial economics grad students. No doubt they know their material.

BTW, it's about 45k $ a year, right? Your family must be rich to support you.
But since you are a US citizen, getting an education loan is always easier than international students.

In the United States, one can avail for specialized loans that can be used for academic pursuits. It is even to purchase a home / property. The general ideal or assumption that foreign residents / resident aliens / foreign student visa holders have trouble in purchasing property or acquiring specialized loans in the US -- is absolutely untrue. Besides, purchasing property in the US is , in my opinion, sound strategy. It helps build equity.

I'm old. I went in the early '80's.
Nowadays, U.S. universities from top level to community college, are all filled with international students.
I guess one reason is to make some money. This is especially true for state universities. Tuition is 3 times more than
in-state tuition. The 2nd reason might be that this is a soft power of the U.S.

I just bought a house months ago. If you have working visa, getting a loan is not a problem. If you have F1 visa, you can't get mortgage loan. But auto loan is possible.

For education loan, if the money is from federal government, then it's only for U.S. citizen. There are banks that provide private loans. This can be available.

When buying a house, the bank looks at your salary to prove you can pay the monthly payment. Even if a F1 visa holder have salary(this can only be possible for TA or RA, about 2000$) a month, it is far from being capable making the payment.

Yup, I'm also a home owner here in the US. To add also, i don't see any profit for foreign H1B or green card holders to rent an apartment, when one can merely purchase a property; this way you get your money back in the event you want to move. There are so many specialized loans available for home owners, first time home owners, and crediting system also is taken into consideration. Now is the time to buy property in the US, btw. ;)

Yes, they also look at the available capital you have at hand. For me, I put in down-payment that was worth 1/4th of my current home. Thus my monthly mortgage is quite affordable. That's one thing i find better in US than in Japan because depending on the amount of capital placed in down-payment, the interest can vary. In Japan, it is not as forgiving.

5) United States of America

US dollar is almost free now. My 15 yr rate is 3.15%, this is considered nothing.
BTW, I found using 50 times leverage to buy Austria dollar using US dollar to earn the interest difference is
almost free. Of course when Austrian dollar falls,

My questions is: assuming 100% people of a country have college degree, who wash dishes, drive taxi, mob the floor, cut the grass, ......?

There's always been high percentages of International Students. I also went to a business school in the '80s. It was full of South Americans. They need an education too! They were paying full cash up front and the Universities happily took it.
