Russia invites Pakistan to invest in Sukhoi Jetliner program.

Well, I think you have misunderstood what I said. If you read my messages, I advocate about participating in all the three programs and then coming up with a solution that is fully geared to address Pakistan's needs. So J31 => yes, TFX => yes and any other option from Russia => yes..
My friend, you are an independent nation. You can go for any thing maximize your national interests! Please don't drag China in dick-measuring. For me, Turkey is a country lot more worthier than Russia to trust for Pakistan. I will vote with two hands if PAF select TFX. Turkey is always very loyal to his Muslim brother, especially you are Muslim as well. My two cents, you can directly throw it into russbish bin if you don't like it.

J10 was inducted to PLAAF back in year 2004, and it was revealed to the public in the late of 2006. WS15 is having 18 tons of max thrust, just a matter of time to be revealed. Don't forget the old friend WS10, had been fit onto 400 plus J11B and J16 and J10b. Take some patience, that's all we need to have.

I am not doubting China progress on the matter (my own undergrad materials prof was from Tsinghua Uni). But WS series still has much left to be proven and the information is not very transparent on the issue either....so I cannot offer much technical comment on it compared to the proven Tier A Western and roughly Tier B Russian engines.

Not under the current work/technology split (from a few reliable sources). It is being re-evaluated and pressure put on Russia.
Seems you get stuck in the 5th gen programme, any backup plan to bail it out?

It's against national security to make it transparent, at least not gonna be possible in the near future. You know the China threat theory, do you?

Full AMCA focus with interested partner consultants (maybe leapfrog from MRCA contacts we made with Dassault, SAAB, Boeing etc), whichever partner they JV with locally for production and maybe cooperation with Israel on it too where relevant (esp sensors and avionics)

CCTV4 broadcasted an documentary two weeks ago illustrating that J20 is having WS15 as its Powerplant. The documentary was deleted right the next day because it disclosed too much info to the outside. Our government try to make it low down, as always be.

You better invest those 7 billions in your own programme. Don't call me trolling....

Why India would rather get stuck in the FGFA rather than buying F35 off the shelf from USA? What's the point of your insistence? What you fear of?

Is till remembered about 10 years ago Russia invited China invest in PAKFA, we turned it down cause we have our own plan.

No harm in diversifying and cementing relations with parties in the area..
Russian aircraft are getting very advanced.

And hence I can only go by what I know to be the design iteration cycles I am familiar with in the west and extrapolate to the papers I have picked up and read published in China. As far as I can see, China still has some major hurdles to cross w.r.t thermal barrier coating matrix application (esp reliability while maintaining tolerance) and the iterations for their optimised geometries.

This is highly proprietary stuff, in fact each company tackles it differently with nuances they specifically researched. The sensitivity of this when it comes to military engine performance is also very big...its classified largely even in the west (rather they tend to release ranges from 10 years prior to current to keep some buffer between what they have in operation right now as the frontier).

But because of the secrecy, it also means you can push it through for realisation faster and accept the limitations for the sake of dealing with the production side issues in the mean time.....but opponents can make a fair guess of it if they have charted the path before. There are no quick easy miracle fixes/leapfrogs here....materials technology comes with some very long term trial and error testing and validation.

I have the video of WS15 under test, I can't show it to you. Wait the public disclosure.

Doubt F-35 is attractive for us at this point. Our planners will weigh the pros and cons of the two options and make the best decision. Let's see. It's a big commitment either way so we have to choose wisely now.

Coating matrix is small case and solved long time ago. Now we are adapting "magnitude blade", a black tech beyond your imagination.

Well if they plan to use it for J-20, they got to test it now as much as possible. I believe you that they have a prototype for the engine....that still means little about its realised performance.

I India refused to invest in FGFA and opt for F35, do you think any possibility that Russia shift its pivot to Favor Pakistan in the military trading?

Hehe "small case". Obviously you are not up to date about whats being done in the realm continuously....and no its far from being "solved" like anything in materials. Coming up with fancy names for something also illustrates/proves nothing.

I don't want be invited for tea by national security.

Ok, just wait and see. Don't get yourself caught up with one day we reveal it.

Nope. India - Russia partnership will still be driven with systems like S-400 and beyond...and legacy systems in long term operation and whatever else develops. Not to mention the massive disparity in the overall commercial esp energy relationship.
