Russians have not made themselves dependent on anyone but still have maintained very good relations with India in the last 60 years while keeping a distance form Pakistan .

That is how it will continue even if Russia and Pakistan get a lil closer , Russia will never have a military relationship with them like India. That is all we want.

Let me make it easier for you to understand. If anything is to continue, then we will only see closer Russian-Pakistani relationship due to the untapped Pakistan potential and I don't mean just "a lil closer". Pakistan is the key if Russia wants to tap into the Arab-ME-African markets.
Yes Russia and India's relationship was true and they are still strong, but they are becoming more and more transactional. Right now Russia still sells to India arms and cooperate in joint ventures because it splits the cost, allows for India's software input but the main factor is - Russia knows India depends heavily on importing arms, they are not exporters like China, therefore doesn't compete in the same market.
Politically speaking it doesn't take much of an Einstein to see that Russia and China have stronger diplomatic ties. Being together in UNSC, BRICS, SCO etc and shares healthy mutual interests and cooperations. They both know they are world players with great global influence.

China and Pakistan share borders and they are here to stay and you can't change that any time in the near future while US and Russia are far off regions except Russia has started to acknowledge the potential of good relations with Pakistan.

Other than some money from purchases, what exactly has india given them?

Pakistan was not responsible for breaking of USSR. They themselves were partly responsible other than US. Pakistan was merely a pawn on the chessboard. Will a vietnamese claim responsibility for decline of US?

At a time when Indian economy is buzzing, when entire world is looking to have more exposure to Indian market you are suggesting that India is not as important for Russia as she was used to??? Of-course there is no reason for Russia to have bad relations/no relations with Pak but that doesn't mean India has lost her charm...

India have very bad relations with Pak...I believe we have gud relations with so-called muslim world and in central Asia...So in short, Russia don't need Pak to have gud relations in mid-west...However one cannot deny that relations with Pak will certainly help...I have no problems in saying that....

Yes... lal soharna reserve,hingol,Sulaiman range,muree,abbotabad,nothern areas etc have them........But our state animal is LEOPARD not a tiger.

Pakistan will not buy these as it is more interested in the FC-20/J-10.

Mig-35 is Mig-29 SMT (with improved engines and better avionics) sure India can get their Mig-29 upgraded to these standards
Presently there are no buyers for Mig-35 and there is one prototype only
So if there is an order from Pakistan then it might help the MiG factory but as someone pointed out, it might effect the many deals that Russians are having with India.

Sukhoi - 30 MKI is considered better than Mig-29, do not know how Mig-35 will fare against Su-30 MKI
I dont think that PAF will consider Mig-35 for simple reason

a) it is not a product that is available and its entirely a risk
b) PAF is getting JF-17 from china which are not top of the line technology, but PAF has good relationship with China and sure China wants bigger share of Pakistan defence pie, and if PAF goes in for Russian MiG that will effect the share of Chinese pie (china has been selling copies of Russian planes to Pakistan)
Component wise, another problem
Russian MiGs with Russian components and missiles?
Pakistan already has F-16 with american missiles and Chinese JF-17 with chinese missiles, that will further increase the stocks of weapons which actually cannot be used by other plane in Pakistan armoury, so it becomes a bigger problem. If less stock of its weapons then the plane cannot fly (without weapons) and if it takes more weapons (just in case) it ends up having over stock (in case of no hostilities with india)
So with this situation, the MiG will create more problems for Pakistan than to India.

The plane is not a bad plane - and to be honest it could serve us well if we induct 40 of these planes and 20 spares.

But Chinese J11 are fantastic option as well

then you should buy mig-35's if u are so much worried about MiG going bankrupt...you dont wanna buy them and you want others not to buy it either..i think iran,cuba and bolivia along with chavez country should go for MiG-35's
