As much as I dislike American intervention, if Assad is truly loved by his people then why doesn't he stand in a free and fair election? Surly he will win by a landslide.
Elections are on the door, but Syria is no way possible ready for elections now, name me one popular opposing candidate for Alasad? in addition to the chaos in the country, people might not even vote, so whats the point of having elections right now, elections could only work when there is peace.
Man who is gonna participate in an election held under a constitution written by the same ppl who r killing their own
ONLY less then 10% have did that? man u r not consistent with ur posts and i don't blame u

Why don't you post the other side of the story:Really? your comparing 10% (probably less) opposition to 90% supporters.
i mean really you can keep denying everything, you the one who is blind, just take a look at this most recent rally April 7, 2012
Syrians Rally - YouTube
Show me the people you are talking about in millions in the streets.
Why don't you post the other side of the story:

Even if 10% population is complaining - it indicates that something is not right with leadership. And the issue is not just limited to protests. Syrian refugees is even bigger issue and has invited international attention.I said 10% or less lol, i dont see millions protesting.

You logic is flawed.Every nation on this planet earth has at least 10% opposition, that means new leader for each nation must be declared on daily basis.
