The last time China has successfully tested its improved variant of JL-2 SLBM, the US government surely knew it, but they wouldn't openly admit it.

Our B-2 counterpart won't be showed until after 2016, and the H-8 bomber will more likely be a modernized version of Tu-160 or B-1 Lancer.

Even H-6K has made a lot of improvement, which can fulfill many types of tasks.

Yeah, US always leads in the scientific development of the modern era. That's why we need to work very hard in order to catch up.

For example, the F-119 engine belongs to the 4th gen engine technology, whereas US now already starts its research about the 7th gen engine technology.

China right nows has nearly to introduce its 4th gen engine like WS-15, now we just start our research on the 5-6th gen engine technology.

Basically we are 1-2 gen behind US in our research of the aircraft engine.

And i am already very satisfied that we can catch up at this rate.
