I admit I am a Su-35 fanboy myself but I would advise replacing the F-5s which desperately need replacing also the Tornadoes that will be withdrawn from service by 2020 with something more "Stealthy". So I guess replace one with stealth while replacing the other with this equal

The PAK-FA and the F-22/F-35 no longer have the Western/Eastern feeling to them they look somewhat similar. If the F-22 is painted in Russian Camos you would think it's Russian same for Pak-FA. However when you see an F-15 or an F-16 with Russian Camo "Aggressors Squadron" you know that there is something seriously wrong with this picture.

The F-15 Strike Eagle is quite impressive with its payload. But it makes me wonder how it's combat radius is so much greater than the SU-34's when the SU-34 has the greater ferry range. Combat radius refers to a loaded (weapons, fuel) aircraft that is able to take out a mission and return home, the Strike Eagle has a greater payload but somehow maintains a superior combat radius even though it has a shorter ferry range and is now loaded with more weapons. I assume that the Strike Eagles combat radius included drop tanks, that or there is some inaccurate figures being advertised.

In any case stick to the topic, it's an SU-34 thread not an F-15 comparison thread.

I agree, the SU-35 is a real looker with a kickass payload which makes it a good multi-role fighter.

But if I were you, I'd rather try to access the F-35. I mean, you guys have money

For what role? Of course worthy enough because everyone cant afford 5th Gen as of now...

Multi Role
Because 5g projects have their own faults . Also because they are still in development phase except F22 and it takes atleast 2 decades for a country to get enough experience and hand full of squadrons . The add ons like EW suite, AESA etc make 4th gen fighter worthy enough .

There is no reason to disagree you, Cost is one issue which will allow 4th gen fighter to dominate for at least next 3-4 decades... And moreover there is no cold war, so there won't be radical upgradation
