Russia and Saudi Arabia form alliance against insurgents in Syria

Israel annexed Golan from Syria. Of course Syria will always be enemy of Israel.

The glorious Ba'ath Party that you support lost the Golan Heights pathetically in 1967. The glorious Al-Assad family (Ba'athist's) have ruled Syria since 1971 and have never reconquered that land to date.

Anyway this is history that occurred decades before I was born. What I care about is political, social and scientific progress in the Arab world and for the region to fulfill its enormous potential. A region that for millenniums was the leading region of the world. Much, much less can do though in the near future.

To make it short I want to see positive changes and for many of the ills to be corrected.

This does not involve keeping the Al-Assad regime in power let alone ISIS or other retards. I can only speak for myself and I realize that millions of Arabs/Muslims and non-Muslims/Arabs (unfortunately) disagree with me on this front.

Anyway I am not a decision maker and my views/opinions do not matter currently. They will matter when more adopt them and when environments on the ground allow for them to evolve in real life on the ground.

The Palestinians who support status quo in West Bank are asshats. Unlike most parties in the Middle East, I am not a hypocrite and will call all people in the wrong out. But in the ME, all parties whether Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS, Iran, GCC, Israel all hold double standard with Iran, GCC and Israel being the worst hypocrites. They and their supporters are heartless people who support cruelty. My beef is that instead of coming out, saying we want progress and to be left alone and no change in status quo, they go out giving people some hope. And the Syrian people fell victim to this, they thought they had something standing behind them only to now realize that is totally not the case and now they're getting killed by everybody and their nation has become playground for world powers and their cruel supporters who have no humanity.

We don't disagree with the fundamentals. Where I believe that you are wrong is when you say that only people x or y are good or bad. In reality there are too many sheep in every Arab/Muslim/developing country/every country for that matter just like there are the opposite with no exception really. Regarding hypocrisy, then we are all guilty of it at some level.

Anyway all this is why I have lost my enthusiasm and hope for changes to occur in the short run as well but I firmly believe that time will do its job. It always does so in that sense there is no reason to become too hopeless. The potential is endless it just needs an environment where it can be nurtured. The rest will come naturally.

Also let's be honest world politics have always been and will be a dirty game and there are no saints involved really. Rather the opposite. It's all about interests. States by definition are selfish and artificial. When looking at overall human history they are a very recent construct too.

It's sad what is happening not only in Syria but every conflict zone of the world but there is not much we average mortals can do. For real changes to occur the locals have to lead and the world community should help them. The world community has failed Syria but we all know that. I was talking about that failure here on PDF years ago. Wrote novels about it. No need for me to repeat myself or others for that matter.
We should not forget that the nature of the conflicts we see in the Arab/Muslim world/developing world occur largely due to the ills of those local societies and locals play a very big part in that. It's harsh but nevertheless the reality. You would never see such scenes in the West nowadays. You saw it once not too long ago though.

Time to call it a day.

Radical? What are you talking about? All I was an honest/good person who had some hope in Islamist movements, still an honest/good person that no longer has hope in any of you or religion.
You know that there is no such thing as good Islamists they are all radicals

So does it mean that isis and other terrorists will be defeated easily now because that is one less supporter for the terrorists? If yes, then good.
