SF are sent in hot areas why would you send in Intelligence officer?? Sending informer means you are exposing his identity o being a spy, SF can atleast make their way out fighting, plus they have the necessary eqpment to get the evidence for confirm hit

There is a difference between an informer and Intelligence officer. Why would you send them instead of SF? Because they are trained to not be noticed and can blend in.
