Rs 502bn corruption in ministries exposed

By all means do tell me, what reform have we seen in our civilian institutions. Democracy has been prospering in Pakistan for the last 8 years, do enlighten me of all the fantastic reforms that have taken place.

Well, if the noble Army stops doing its ignoble acts in interrupting legal processes, we would have had 70 years of it, not just 8. Democracy is a slow growing tree, but with sweet fruit. Expecting reforms before allowing the tree to mature is naive at best and dishonest at worst.

I was just waiting to hear something against the army. You didn't make me wait long, thank you.

What I have said is factually correct. May be you should direct your anger at those who usurp power illegally, not towards those who point it out.

Dude, this thread is about corruption of the scum of the earth PMLN and PPP

The reason such scum are in government presently is directly due to past illegal actions by the Army. Who created NS, may I ask? Who let BB into power, giving us Zardari, may I ask? It is time to let regular elections proceed so that proper accountability can be instituted, finally. Braying in street protests will only take Pakistan back to square one yet again. Is that what you would want?

What has both ganja league & gadari party ever done & are good at? The answer is, only corruption, new ways of corruption & treachery against Pakistan.

AGP guys are themselves corrupt, how can they report these things. Perhaps this is the money from which they didnt get share.
All in all right from Mehekmaey Auqaf to Planning commission, from Irrigation department to Halal Committee , are all nothing but corrupt.

Shahbaz Government’s education sector performance poorly rated by global agencies: Moonis Elahi

201132185722431371_10.jpg

Lahore
Moonis Elahi the senior central leader of Pakistan Muslim League has strongly criticized Punjab Education Department’s poor performance of last two and a half years. Quoting the 2010 Global Monitoring Report of an international service organisation in which Punjab’s literacy rate has been shown taking a steep plunge, Moonis Elahi has held the Shahbaz Government as fully responsible for this disappointing performance. According to Moonis Elahi the World Bank and the UN reports of 2007 had acknowledged that Punjab’s literacy rate had jumped to 62% under Chaudhry Parvez Elahi’s pro education policies.

Moonis Elahi alleges Shahbaz Government’s incompetence and vested interests behind the sharp decline in Punjab’s literacy and enrollment rates since 2008. He has also dubbed the Punjab Government’s controversial decision of appointing boards of directors with sweeping powers in government owned colleges as nothing short of villainy with future generations. Moonis Elahi made these comments during a meeting with members of Pakistan Muslim League Education Wing in Lahore today.

He alleged that the majority of appointments in these boards of directors were politically motivated and therefore counterproductive. He said that these boards were as controversial and useless as the dozens of task forces existing in Punjab since 2008 and which had been unable in proving to date their efficacy and utility. Moonis Elahi reiterated his firm commitment to the concerns and interests of students, teachers and parents of the province in the backdrop of the continuous anti-education policies of the Shahbaz administration. He said that the present Punjab rulers’ interest in the growth of education and the bright future of the students could be assessed from the fact that Punjab Education Department had been running without a minister since 2008.

Good Governance of PML-N

Sharif Family is about $5 billion richer

Awesome

Let him loot the country in the meanwhile than. Of all the things this country could have done with $5 billion.

How come, have you reached the brilliant conclusion? How come all corruption in all ministries at all levels ended up in the pockets of Shariff Family?
Have you read the audit report?
Do you under stand the Audit function of Auditor General of Pakistan? how the audit is conducted? what actions on audit reports are taken?
Where the Audit report is presented?

Some posters are suggesting that "original amount lost due to corruption is 10 times of this reported amount" that is, Rs. 5,020 Billion, without realizing that total outlay i.e., expenditure for that fiscal year was Rs. 4.3 trillion--- as I elucidated in my previous post in this thread.

.but if Army brought these Scums in power

It is a not a matter of "if" the Army brought them into power. The facts are recorded in Pakistan's history for all to see. PMLN and PPP were given turns at government as a result of the machinations of the Army.

And why would the Army change anything when the present system suits it so well? Heads it wins, tails others lose.

Another premature or illegal change of governments yet again will not do anything to reduce such corruption. Regular democratic processes should be allowed to take root to solve such problems.

If we observe closely the progression of developed world for last 200 years or so, we will find that these societies were not so just and corruption free (in comparison): These became corruption free (in comparison) and just are these were becoming more prosperous and educated;
Justice in society is directly proportional to the level of prosperity in society.
Education (meaningful) in society is directly proportional to prosperity in society.

Traction that Imran Khan has gained is directly proportional to prosperity in society; Would a character like Imran Khan had any significant appeal and impact, say, 40 years ago; I don't deduce so.

Prosperity, for a country like Pakistan is directly proportional stability, law and order. Current state of India (where corruption is rampant) is an irrefutable evidence to this fact, for last 20 years so.

IK has traction only within burger communities, and not much else. He may get FB likes and Twitter hashtags, but that is not enough to win him enough seats to form a government. Biradari voting still wins. His political value is very little except when pumped up artificially by hidden angels to suit their goals.

And even if he were to make a government somehow, corruption will not go away in 90 days. no matter what the claims.

Prime Minister NS could not complete both of his two previous five years terms due to the same corruption charges. Now he is at it again, the 3rd time. NS has boasted that he is completely eradicating corruption from the country. However these claims do not apply to him, his cabinet nor his cronies.

So, I have a question to all forum members here who are from Pakistan. How do you as Pakistanis tolerate such level of corruption in your government which is damaging Pakistan so severely? I see a lot of debate in the media, but that's about it. When the PM is asked to respond to corruption scandals and answer these charges and take action against the accused in his cabinet and others, he restricts the country’s accountability bureau's authority and threatens to clip their wings further. For real??

IK won from KPK, is all of KPK burger?

If these hidden angels are pumping up IK, then howcome they failed to pump up Musharraf when he was in power?

Also howcome these hidden angels didn't step in when the police attacked the dharna in 2014?
