Unless you are a Kashmiri u Indians and Pakistanis can't really comment on who is and who isn't a Kashmiri. I am Kashmiri from Azad Kashmir living in uk. Kashmiri pandits are indigenous to kashmir and should be allowed to return they got caught in the bitter 80's and it is unfortunate. However the pandits will always back Hindu india whereas the separatist movement is anti india and therein lies the dichotomy.

The fool who speaks of forced conversions, Islam spread through the valley through mystics and Sufis, Muslims were invited to Kashmir and the royal family openly adopted Islam, those that declined such as the Brahmins lived and carried on their business for centuries. U speak so much of Kashmir yet I bet u haven't laid a foot in kashmir

Kashmiri Brahmins are indigenous to the valley. I am a Kashmiri whos family moved to Azad Kashmir then to uk, I can trace my kabilahs ancestory to the valley to over a thousand years

Oye kake hosla rakh. Hindu pundits will not be allowed till Kashmiri muslims are not given full rights. If by Kashmir you mean ''Azad Kashmir'' then i have laid foot there many times before i even knew it was Azad Kashmir. Azad Kashmir border is very close to where we live, just couple of KM away.

People of Jammu and Kashmir has already showed by casting their votes that they will end their differences and let the pandits to return back to their houses and i have saw some documentary in which Kashmiri Muslims are even now taking care of Kashmiri pandits houses.

Bhai your family moved from Kashmir valley to Azad Kashmir and then to UK? So your family was forced out of Kashmir valley yet you are showing big heart which is typical trait of Pakistanis. But you have not suffered like the ones who were left behind.

Jammu is hindu majority area, they are hindu dogras and not Kashmiris. With Chenab formula Jammu area will merge with India while muslim part of Kashmir with Pakistan. We don't claim hindu majority areas of HoK.

So BJP or hindu candidates winning in Jammu is hardly surprising.
