If AKP would succeed on the presidential system, I highly expect a symbolic ottoman status would also be adopted by the party.

And odds are that they'll succeed at the presidential system too, so..

It is their own choice and we should respect it but how difficult was it to take Turkish classes? They just didn't care. I mean if they were regular family I would understand but this Osmanli family is direct heirs of the Ottoman dynasty. The Ottoman family is also claimed to be the descendants of Mohammed the prophet who ruled the entire muslim world for 6-7 centuries. If even they became secular why are the islamist trying to do in Turkey? So they think their world view is more important than the world view of the descendants of Mohammed which is this family.
