Round One JF17 - Poor Display By Tejas Took 10 more sec Than JF17 To Go Up

This video clearly shows JFT took off in just 14 sec at Zhuhai. And please don't say that the plane was already moving because the black smoke at the very start says otherwise.

For what??Just license assembling of 7 planes every year from kits supplied by the Chinese??

I think some head bobble stabilization may be needed....

Doesn't look like a bolting together shed to me...

even if I believe that plane started at 0 sec. JF17 still take more time.

Image quality of Bahrain air show is not good

Pakistani JF 17 thunder captured very nicely in respective foreign show.

I believe we both country should stop fighting about our fighter aircraft, one is trying to replace its aging fleet in low cost as possible and other is trying to become self reliant by any means......

Don't know what that promotional video signified, but the point was what's the production rate of JF-17 after 8 years of induction? Can you please state that?

I don't think it's in Pakistan Govt.'s interest to let Indians know about production rates and targets. They just need enough to defend themselves and also - if situations permit, to sell some, to make a buck.

Makes sense?

And I don't think JF 17 is for this purpose, India has around 300+ top class fighter( Air force + Navy together).

BD should be first buyer of JF17....

The time for buying is over. BD should increase the size, expand the programmes of the aeronautical complex we already have and strive for assembly of foreign components like India has been doing for the last seventy years. :-)

OK maybe that last comment was too much. But the Brits and US did set up HAL as a maintenance depot in WWII.

o_Oo_Oo_O

The only original aircraft to ever come out of HAL - even that at massive expense and with involvement of Dr. Kurt Tank in the sixties, was the HF-24 Marut. They learned their lesson, never again. Every other HAL aircraft since then has been a substandard 'Indianized' copy of western aircraft. Case in point, the Kiran,

Even the recent helicopters are derived from imported parts made by MBB Germany/Eurocopter.
