Under international law each sovereign state can consent to the use of force of another sovereign state on its territory. The Syrian Government has that exclusive right in Syria.

But Baqir Majlisi's books, writings, ideas and actions was what took tabarra and Sunni hatred to a whole new level in Safavid Persia
I believe earlier Shia scholars like Sheikh Al Mufid, Tusi, Sheikh Sadooq etc. were much more tolerant, and reasonable in their criticism

Go back to sleep mate. Their "very capable military" did not prevent them from being defeated in a humiliating manner by Hezbollah nor did it stop them asking for a ceasefire with palestinians few weeks ago. These jokers are no match for Iran on their own.

as far as I know he was most influential of hadees scholars (and I bet is beloved of many powerful present day iranis) so for the purposes is this thread, there is no possibility of a union between ksa and iran any time soon, so i shall bid you a good night!

No doubt he was a very influential cleric of the 17th century Persia and he is respected by many even today. But none of his books (from over 100) come close to "The 4" in terms of authenticity and reliability.
