Were they anti Buddhist? Or did they fight the Palas? I don't know much. Also Hindu kingdoms also often fought each other. Does not mean they were anti Hindu. @Tshering22What about Brahmana-Kshatriya. eg: Sena dynasty
Sena dynasty - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
How many Brahmin dynasties ruled India?
What everyone knows is the consistent destruction of Buddhist and Hindu culture from Gandhara to kamboj to Sindh to Kashmir to Pataliputra to Nalanda by Islamic invasions. The most famous University of those times and a place of Buddhist learning became history in the hands of Islamic invaders. Takshila was destroyed by Huns before that. Shankaracharya on the other hand could revive Hinduism from the deep South, yet untouched by Islam. Buddhism also flourished where Islam did not reach. Like in Lanka, SE Asia, China, Japan etc. The last relic was lost when the Taliban blew up the Bamiyan Buddhas.
