Rohingya among 4 Terror Suspects in Malaysian Custody

Let them go back to their own native land, give them citizenship,
this is why China deny to support this issue due to their non intervening policy. Repatriation is just a start , not the end. what they are asking is giving them citizenships at once without any proper checking when they come back.

Moreover , they even try to evade from imprisonment for what they did to other communities before running inside of BD. what they ask is Myanmar gov should declare all of them are innocent and should not make any purnishment. what a funny.

Name a country who is giving citizenships without proper check. This is main point why China dont support this issue and always said there are complex situations behind this incident.

So in this regards , Myanmar's reply is very reasonable. Myanmar will accept them with proper check to filter out some IS cell and terrorists. we already announed the list of terrorists who invloved in killings of Hindu and buddhist communities resided in rakhine state. if we found anyone of them , arrest them and give proper purnishment. for the rest of the things , we're working together with UNHCR , WHO and ICRC to give support of all victims.

But They decline our reply. and BD also support it. Giving suitable people citizenships and arresting who did crime in our terroritory is the right of sovereign state. this is not a thing which someone can demend.

So what should we do ?! just let them live where they enjoy and watch how they ruined BD. even now many thousands of these people go around the world with BD passport. Just a matter of time , they will beome bangladeshi.

All of them were inside Myanmar so there were no ground for checking. Plus all of them or their ancestors were citizen of Myanmar till 1982. You can not strip citizenship of couple of million people just cause of your wish.

They did not say about citizenship at the proposal but setting a time for return. But outside resolution it is universally accepted by all world body giving citizenship back (not granting new) is the untimate solution so that they can live like a normal human being.

Restricting their movement without passport, not letting them having proper education, marrying of their choice, restricting access to job, persecuting them what do you epect for them. This is going on for 3.5 decades and worse than the Palestinian situation.

Myanmar has no genuine intention to take them back or to resolve the situation which has raised due to the genocide committed by the savages of his country.

Nonsense, as mention. Some of them has commit terror attack. Screening them again is the solution to filter out the bad eggs and let the good rohingya carry on with their life's. Why not u release all your Bangladesh terror suspect in your country before asking other to do so?

First you can not make people stateless. Second they were made stateless since 1982. Third if anyone has made crime there are laws to punish them. There are no justification to commit genocide on millions of people for that.

Myanmar law will be very simple. Whoever commit terror or part of terror will be executed. So Myanmar give them citizen and trial them for terror and then execute them. Is that what u want?

lol all of them ?! do u have anything to prove it.?! even the one holding Myanmar passport has to be checked when they come back from aboard. asking citizenships without checking is non sense. Moreover , we should be more careful as IS threaten us and many countries warn about that. So tigh comfirmation is certainly required for every single one. every country will also do it when they comfront the threat from terrorists and so do we.

LOL are u sure they dont ask citizenship ?

https://www.channel4.com/news/rohingya-refugees-demand-citizenship

They do demand the citizenship. Moreover , they never ask setting a time to return. what they ask is they will return only when the gov grant what they demand.

outside resolution it is universally accepted by all world body giving citizenship back (not granting new) is the untimate solution so that they can live like a normal human being.

Moreover , if u see our reply closely , u can understand. We dont deny to give citizenship , only deny to give citizenship all the returnee without proper checking. This is huge difference between them. Our reply is very reasonable and that's why both China and India support it. If BD genuinely want the repatriation , stop blaming and should cooperate with us.

Restricting their movement without passport, not letting them having proper education, marrying of their choice, restricting access to job, persecuting them what do you epect for them. This is going on for 3.5 decades and worse than the Palestinian situation.

lol they cant acess education.??? LOL except some camps , most of them if they afford , can access higher education.
u're in trap of western propaganda. lol

so the easy way is to accept the identification of gov which is always refused by themselves. what u asked is only for genuine citizens. if they want , they must accept it first. there is no country in this world provided the facts what u mention to non-citizens.

they only what u should do is to convince these bangali rohingya and cooperate with us. or try to live with them peacefully. :P
as u mentioned they are very peaceful so i'm sure u guys can live with them in harmony.

I talked about before they fled Myanmar. They did not have any passport. Many had to flee leaving behind all their possession to save their life.

If you really like to check that must be done in a secure zone inside Myanmar. None of them are from Bangladesh or India. UN closely monitored how many of them came to Bangladesh. They were finger printed and given id card.

Giving back the citizenship is the ultimate solution.

Tell fairy tale story like you do not mind giving citizenship to your communist friend. If your savage government really want why you did not give all these years?

Finally we are talking about UN proposal not what Rohingya demand. For sure they want citizenship to live a normal life instead of living in a concentration camp.

Myanmar law will be very simple. Whoever commit terror or part of terror will be executed. So Myanmar give them citizen and trial them for terror and then execute them. Is that what u want?

If that is law of Myanmar and no human right violation is there and apply to all why anybody will complaint. But that is not the case here. More than half of myanmar is facing insurgency. How many they will kill?

of course ..!! that's why we opened welcoming camps to do the procedure of identification. Since then , they started asking non sense.

UN can monitor in the process of identification. but they can not intervene or involve in that process. We dont take ID cards issued by third parties.

what we talk about is not fairy tale. That's already declared to the world. if they want citizenship , they must come back first , live for a while in welcoming camps for identification then they can go back to where they live or nearest place where they live. But they decline it. and demand immediate citizenship as soon as they arrive. may be they're enjoying living in BD with their very own brother.

You should be ashamed of promoting lie so blindly. Myanmar never offered citizenship. They just asked to be returned in the camp but no guarantee or promise what will happen after that. They did not return on safety ground which even UN has acknowledged.

Myanmar transit camps sit empty as Rohingya fear return

MAUNGDAW, MYANMAR (AFP) - The transit camp in Myanmar's Rakhine state stands ready to welcome back 150 Rohingya refugees from Bangladesh every day.

But on most days, it lies completely empty, as members of the stateless minority dread returning to a place they were violently driven from by the military, and Myanmar makes little effort to reassure them things will be different this time.

"We have been ready to receive them since January, when we opened," said Mr Win Khaing, immigration director at Nga Khu Ra, standing in the desolate camp with reporters on Friday (June 29) as part of a two-day government-chaperoned trip to the area.

The result is a stand-off, as Myanmar immigration officials wait in empty offices shuffling papers and arranging biometric equipment but with little to no work to do except greet visiting delegations and journalists.

Fewer than 200 Rohingya Muslims have been resettled in Myanmar's northern Rakhine state from the 700,000 who fled a violent army crackdown in August.

Rohingya women say they were raped by security forces, while witnesses described summary executions and a merciless campaign of violence that the UN has said amounts to ethnic cleansing.

Myanmar says it only targeted militants, although the military has admitted one instance of executing captured suspects.

Even the limited number of Rohingya who have returned have all done so under murky circumstances.

In April, the government trumpeted the arrival of a Rohingya family of five, but it was later slammed as a PR stunt as it emerged they had come from a buffer area between the two countries that is technically part of Myanmar.

Local authorities nevertheless created a billboard with several large photos of the family near the border, heralding the "photo records of steps of repatriation".

In recent months, Myanmar says dozens have been repatriated after crossing over from Bangladesh illegally.

It says others who tried to flee to Bangladesh by boat but accidentally washed up back in Myanmar have also been sent to live with relatives after being processed at the transit camp.

Bangladesh does not recognise these as legitimate returnees.

"The repatriation process has not begun," Bangladesh refugee commissioner Mohammad Abul Kalam told AFP.

Nine Rohingya purportedly released from prison in May after crossing back over illegally were brought by Myanmar officials to meet journalists on Friday.

But cracks quickly emerged in the story, with some saying they had never even been to Bangladesh and were "repatriated" from prison in Myanmar.

"We were arrested in November last year (in Myanmar) and sentenced to four years' imprisonment each under the immigration act," said Mr Yar Sein, 35, a farmer and father-of-four.

"We were arrested from school and accused of coming from Bangladesh. We haven't been to Bangladesh."

The prolonged delays in repatriation have also strained relations with Bangladesh, which plans to send a protest note after a 10-year-old Rohingya boy in the buffer zone was struck by a bullet from the Myanmar side on Thursday.

Myanmar says it fired at people attempting to damage the border fence.

As the two countries blame each other for the delay, Myanmar has embarked on what is says is a massive development project in northern Rakhine, bulldozing Rohingya towns and remaking the entire landscape in the name of reconstruction.

The UN has said conditions in Rakhine are not ripe for a safe, voluntary and dignified repatriation, but signed an agreement with Myanmar to assess conditions on the ground to help refugees make an informed decision.

Myanmar has faced global condemnation for its treatment of the Rohingya, and Amnesty International said this week that several senior military figures should be tried for crimes against humanity.

A US Trafficking in Persons (TIP) report on Thursday downgraded Myanmar for failing to protect Rohingya Muslims fleeing the crackdown and leaving them vulnerable to exploitation and trafficking rings.

The Rohingya are loathed by many in Myanmar, where they were stripped of citizenship and branded illegal immigrants from Bangladesh despite calling Rakhine their homeland.

General Min Aung Hlaing, the army chief, said last month that Rohingya have nothing to fear as long as they stay in places "designated" for them, raising concerns that they would be placed back into the apartheid-like conditions they escaped.

Mr Ye Htoo, district administrator in Maungdaw - the epicentre of violence in the western state - told reporters that Myanmar is "planning to create a good environment for them to stay if they come back".

Still, he admitted, "there is no one" at the camps.

Local residents have also spoken of not being willing to co-exist alongside their former neighbours, whom many associate with a Rohingya militant group that attacked police posts.

Ms Khin Soe, a 30-year-old Buddhist ethnic Rakhine woman from Inn Din village, said they are still afraid.

"If the government really plans to relocate them here again, we are leaving this place."

BD is weird. If they really care about Rohingya, why don't they bring back all those refuges to their country? After all Rohingya have the same ethnicity as the BD people. Don't say that their economy is so bad that they can't afford to take those Rohingya Refuges.

"The Commie" Chinese Government that the OP hate has the courage to bring back many Chinese Indonesian who refused to become Indonesian citizen back in 1959. Despite they had a very ugly economy problem because of the failed "Great Leap Forward" Project.

So, if BD is really care about Rohingya people, just take everyone of them back to BD. They're BD responsibility.

So in my opinion, those Rohingya Terrorists is the sin of Bangladesh who can't protect their own people (ethnicity wise).

They are different ethnicity. Their ancestor is mix of Bengali, Arab, Turks, Persian and local Burmese people. They are living there for centuries and has unique identity separate from Bengali. Their language and culture is different as well.

It is like saying hui Chinese are Arab because their ancestors were Arab or Hispanic population with Spanish ancestors couple of century back are Spanish.

No country will take million refugees. On humanitarian ground they have been sheltered in Bangladesh. Not permanently.

So you claim that they're not your people? LOL. Is it a denial or what? I take pity on Rohingya people, because the country that they can only depend to have rejected them. And even deny that Rohingya are their own.

Since when they are our people? Even Bengali is in West Bengal, Assam and Tripura and all over the world. Are they our people?

Just like to remind you we are talking about Rohingya not Bengali people.

You will find Hispanic population all across central and South America. Can you now send some Venezuelan people to Argentina or Mexico as they are saMe people?

.
Yet some are crying to the international audience for being persecuted.

@Chinese-Dragon here is a genocide supporter from china!i Vctim of genocide cant ask for Justice ? Wow!

Any Buddhists from Myanmar in IS?
They have their own organisation. Atleast IS has guts to be public about their crime, unlike pesky buddha following genocidal maggots...
